A Relisting "oops" that worked!

So, I was relisting about 20 items and ACCIDENTLY checked the box for an item that I was not planning to Relist for a while ... all Auctions.  Then low and behold, the next day, I noticed I had a bid on something ... checked the bid list and thought, "when did I Relist THAT thing?" ... it is the only item from that Relisting lot with a bid LOL!

So what "oops" has worked out for you?!?

Well, I was hurrying to put up some items, and I ended up missing a 5 off the end of my item. Yup meant I was asking $37 for a $375 item.  Boy did it sell fast. Seems  by buyer sells these funky new knife sharpeners. Has a store here are well as a physical one. He's sending one to me and asked me for a few hundreed!!! of my business cards.

Didn't lose too much I hope......lol.

Maybe not exactly an oops, but a couple of times I've sold an item that had been sitting there and I was NOT going to relist it, but did anyway, then it sold. Once a customer said they'd been watching it all that time and wondered if I would relist so they bought it. Smiley Surprised

@poppyswag  So true ... you just never know what is going to sell ... the ones that get me are just like yours, you look at it and think, "who is going to buy that thing, ok, I'll list it one more time ... " them BAM, it sells.  I had one from last year that had watchers every time I listed it, one member asked questions about it ... so the last time I relisted it I raised the price 10 bucks and it sold within 2 days ... go figure, huh?!?

Re: A Relisting "oops" that worked!

The raising the price phenom hasn't worked very well for me but I will add what it costs me to list, or a handling fee sometimes. The shipping price increases are digging my bottom line because I sell some heavy stuff like dishes.

Re: A Relisting "oops" that worked!

I listed a set of dishes ... single piece separate listings (1 Dinner Plate qty 8, Salad qty 8, etc, etc) ... On the bread plates, I did a sell similar from the salads? That I listed, changed the title, did a "SQUIRREL!" And hit list. This pattern is the type that is "themed" rather than all the same (different fruit on different pieces), so the pic really mattered 😞

Not 2 hours later, I got a message from a buyer telling me about it (nicely) and asking me how many other pieces did I actually have. She said that she only looked at the listing because she had never seen the bread plates with that fruit on them 🙂

She ended up buying almost EVERYTHING that I had in that pattern 🙂 🙂
