Well then, I'm not putting personal information in but I want to see how many fellow vendors see the mistake and ebay can't see it. Had one agent the other evening refuse to give me his name and then in a smart tone stated that ebay was correct and I was wrong. Here we go.... Item sold for 190.90 buyer sent the money; to break it down it was 125.00 for the item; 57.15 for the shipping and 8.75 tax. Now Ebay deducts the tax and the new balance is 182.15. All good but I have no money to ship the item and called ebay to see if they can advance me the money to ship. No problem; they took 7.88 for a selling fee and deposited 12.12 into my checking account. The selling fee was a correct charge but shipping an item for 32.27 this is the first issue. I had to call a friend of mine and have him deposit 20.00 into my paypal account which I transferred to my bank account. I purchased the shipping label for 32.27 and shipped the item. Now recapping I owe them 7.88 and 12.12 which totals 20.00. Now there is a balance of 174.27. They deduct another final value fee of 24.26 which is also accurate and releases 157.89 into my account. 3 days later they sent an announcement that I owe 32.27 for the shipping label and that they were going to deduct it from my account. I called 3 times and pleaded with them that there was no money in my account and please wait until January 25 when my check posts. I had just had operations on both of my legs and pulled out the 157.89 to pay for my prescriptions. 3 operators assured me that it would not debit until the 25th. 2 days later after the 1st announcement they withdrew 32.27 out of my account and caused my account to go negative and costing me a 25.00 overdraft fee. I have been so upset and ever time the agents promise me that they processed my credit; it has not and has turned into a nightmare!! A few questions... How much did ebay loan me to ship my sale? How much did I borrow from my friend to actually ship the item? How much did ebay take out of my account? The difference is? This is the dispute and they don't see it. Besides I still owe my friend his 20.00 and the 25.00 overdraft fee. I believe that I have been very nice in the share and looking forward to the responses. Thank you for your time

@katynski1.................this is what people are trying to say to use...........the choice is at the bottom (you have to scroll down) of every shipping page:

All this drama is kind of self inflicted.

@katynski1 wrote:I will say that you were the closest and almost had the correct answer. I spoke with them and they finally figured out where their mistake was and processing my credit as we speak. I'm not counting my chickens but will update my story with the correct amount. Thank you for your time!!
Yes, @lacemaker3 was spot-on. And you're wise to not count your chickens. Awaiting the update...

And how is that? Maybe we aren't all made of money and need to ask for help once in a while. I am disabled; not by choice and deal with whatever comes my way. I asked for a simple advancement on the money that was mine in the first place.

Unfortunately, I don't have that luxury but thank you

eBay doesn't give advances.
They do allow you to use money that is in your available funds to pay for shipping. You can choose to do that by checking the correct box when you purchase the shipping label. Then, the full amount you needed for the shipping label would have been deducted from the money that was waiting for your payout.
No fuss or drama needed, no overdraft, and you would not have needed to borrow any money to purchase the label.

You aren’t listening
Calling a multi-national company to ask for an advance is not only ridiculous, it’s unnecessary. I repeat - unnecessary.
The option to use pending funds to pay for postage is right at the bottom of the page.

And how much did talking to 11 people cost the rest of us?

Well let's look at it from a different point of view. How would you accept someone stealing your money and you considering others feelings and decided that it was o.k. and not to be bothersome. Funny

Tried that and it didn't work but I see how many of you think that I didn't use the proper channels. I only told my story to get my point across and how ebay does their business; but I'm sorry that I mentioned it. You've all avoided a simple question and offering a simple answer except for 1 that actually came very close to the answer. Thank all of you for taking something so simple and attempting to create even more drama that I didn't need. This is worse then voting for Trump and look what that got you......

Sounded so simple except that I didn't have that option and if I had it; I wouldn't have gone through all of this because I was bored and needed something to do. Thank you though

OK.
That doesn't change anything, though. Even if you didn't have the option to pay for the shipping from your pending/available funds, eBay still doesn't give advances.

Yes I did and will post to my account 1-3 days. The answer was 12.27. Thank you everyone!!

I think they didn't have the button because it was listed with shipping of USPS Retail Ground, which you can't buy online.

I have no clue what you said.
