What is the Promotion?
Invited sellers ("Sellers") who first activate the offer and then create a listing in the auction-style format or auction-style with Buy it Now format, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth herein ("Qualifying Listing"), will pay no insertion fee per item listed ("Promotion") for up to 50 listings during the Promotion Period. All existing selling limits on your account (as well as category and item limits) still apply, and may prevent you from creating the maximum number of listings in this Promotion. The Promotion is in addition to the free listings per month as part of the everyday rate plan.
The Promotion does not apply to listings with 1-day or 3-day duration, final value fees, or supplemental service fees. The Promotion will apply to initial listings as well as relists and Good 'Til Cancelled renewals that occur during the Promotion Period.
Somebody wasn't paying attention. The offer is for auction-format listings, so it cannot be applied to GTC listings that roll over.

I would gladly do some Auctions with BIN if BIN didn't cost extra. My store insertion auctions go mostly unused. I used 2 last month (out of 500)
No invite for me.

Thanks for the heads up. 3 accounts...3 offers. Only one account had the offer showing up in my messages, but all were there waiting to be accepted in the usual promo area. I accept every promo that comes my way, although I don't always use them. I get a lot of them at this time, but I had been away from selling for 5 years, so maybe that's what triggers them.
I agree that auctions can be a boon or bust, and it really depends on the items, and research and LUCK. When my auction items don't start getting looks after 1 or 2 days I will delist and start over, often just switching them to fixed price. With short term promos that can be frustrating, but it is what it is.

I agree. I got the last ones, I used a bunch. (Don't know how many, really need to keep better records, but things are not moving and more to keep records of)
I got one sale the Sunday the auctions ended, but I think it was fixed price.
Two years ago, all we listed were auctions, and usually got a 10%-20% sell through rate.
Not any more.
Seems I do better now with BIN, Selling items after they have been listed, even if my opening auction bid is lower.
I still like auctions, if I don't know what something is worth, I will do one. The interest usually lets one know if it is
I like you will probably try a few, but the list at auction, relist can take awhile.
Dont really know if it is worth the effort.

Did not get invited to list with that promotion
Have some "occasional list" items waiting for a promo.
