Agree 100% Sales have been declining steadily since Octobers changes. When other platforms start beating ebay that never even came close in the past. There is a problem.

Biden wants to destroy America and the liberals are rooting for our demise! America is experiencing a different war called Inflation thanks to Biden. Sales are down being influenced by inflation. 40+ years ago we had the Peanut Farmer from Plains Georgia in charge, that did his best to mess up a good thing. Then the deck of cards came tumbling down big time . Was there, lived it, made it through it with a family of 4. It was double digit every thing - unemployment rate, inflation, home/car/food/beer prices going crazy, mortgage interest rates, even pass book savings account were earning 10% interest (taught my daughter the value of saving then), where i worked I receiving a cost of living adjustment COLA) in my base salary every quarter. Took about 4 years to right the ship and get in smooth waters.

IMHO it looks and smells like a rerun to me. It wasn't pretty and 2007/2008 was a cake walk by comparison.

Chill with the political crap. I credit the decline in sales 100% to the people at ebay making major changes without having a clue about what they are changing all in the name of "streamlining". It made NO sense combining 4 VERY large categories into one. Its absolutely ridiculous to the added item specifics to the jewelry listings. Things that most jewelers would not know. It destroyed the searches, turns off buyers and causes seller more time in creating listings. It has become tedious.

There is the problem - too many sellers that don’t know what they are selling. They aren’t jewelers - they are moms and dads selling jewelry. Not to say that eBay didn’t take a baseball bat to the problem, but let’s get real about the lack of knowledge of far too many “jewelers” on eBay.
