So sad to not have any sales yet. Past every month in 2019 gave me one sale at least on day #1 of new month.
Yucky New Year? Ebay earned 80% less from me last year. I refuse to accept the blame. God help us, maybe this year a ballsy leader will change things up. If not, then bye bye eBay.

We were surprised at the misinformation we received as well. 100% wrong.

The change was very definitely "announced" and quite a while back.
Only TRS sellers who add Free Returns to their listings will see the badge appear on those listings now.
Although I'm surprised 'support' didn't know that (or maybe not).
In addition to that, even before they changed the requirement for the discount to include the seller must offer Free Returns, the TRS badge did not show on listings themselves. Only on the FB page for a long time now. And only a TRS+ badge on the listings that meet the requirements for that.
And now with the redesign of the FB page it only states that a seller is TRS, there is no more badge at all. Plus the statement that the seller is TRS is rather unassuming. Certainly not prominent.

Sorry , No improvement is very likely in 2020.

However EBay does say
"182 M buyers make it easy
to cash in."

181 M of them are tire kickers / window shoppers. eBay is pathetic now. Most days are 0-2 minor sales. 12-15 days a year, I make REAL money. Otherwise, I average less than $20 a day.

Do people buy collectables in the beginning of the year? I'm doing decent so far, but most of my buyers are businesses with fresh budgets to burn. Hopefully things will pickup for you, Q4 of 2019 was pretty rough.
As a collectible buyer for 30+ years, the time of year has nothing to do with my buying habits. I buy when the items I want are available at prices that I am willing to pay.
As a collectible seller for 30+ years, I have never noticed any change in my sales levels based on the time of year.

Amazon is alot more complicated to list but sales is 100% better.
I might be done with Ebay Soon.

End of holiday season probably. I sell on several other sites and it was EVERY DAY around the clock. I was going to the PO 4 times a week and so busy selling and packing what I had listed that sold I didn't have time to list MORE that I needed to sell. And it was all kinds of sales - best offer, auction, free shipping, regular shipping, didn't matter. At one point I had to hit 3 different Walmarts looking for shipping supplies because they sold out and I was going through them. Oddly, IM STILL SELLING STUFF. No clue why.

We are a salvage yard with over 6300 active listings. We can barely pull in 1 sale a day. Its mind boggling because we are very competitive with our pricing and sell everything imaginable off every vehicle. Has anyone come up with a solution to draw more attention and get more sales. With the number of items we have listed we should easily be getting 10 sales daily whether big or small. Its crazy to me that we barely get 1

Your sold listings show that you are well beyond 1 sale per day, at least in the last 2-3 months. You are much closer to 3 per day. While I'm sure still room for improvement in your opinion, you aren't doing as badly as 1 per day. So that is good news. I do hope that 2020 proves to be a very good year for you and your sales continue to increase.
