So sad to not have any sales yet. Past every month in 2019 gave me one sale at least on day #1 of new month.
Yucky New Year? Ebay earned 80% less from me last year. I refuse to accept the blame. God help us, maybe this year a ballsy leader will change things up. If not, then bye bye eBay.

Or next year, or the year after that... this has been the hope on eBay since 2008. 12 years later, it's still sinking down, down, down, down, down....

I think it is going to depend on what you sell. My craft stuff is doing great right now. But for me January is usually my biggest month of the year for sales.
I do sincerely hope your sales pick up very soon.

When I did my post office run today there was a line out the door with people mailing obvious returns (lots of boxes with the Amazon Smirk on it). Maybe when they get all of their money returned they can bring it over here and spend it.

I'm right there with you on the little to no sales issue. The past 6 out of 7 seven days I haven't broke the daily $100 mark. Compare this to the past Summer when I was breaking the $100 mark every day with many $200 days. It all started to go down hill after that and the past three months have been a disaster. I sell collectibles like you, which in the past five years I've been able to sell at anytime of the year and make very good sales. I have been keeping my eye on these boards for the past six months and agree with many posters here that something is wrong with eBay. Will they fix it or do they even know how to fix it, well we will just have to wait and see.

We've also noticed the recent collapse in sales. We typically process $100 to $200 in orders per day... but this week we had one order for $14.95 on Jan 1... and one order this morning (Jan 4) for $25.
As a result, we tried re-added "Free Returns" to our listings... and it seems that the icon/badge for "Top Rated Seller" has now magically reappeared to all listings in our store... as well as to all search results. Hmmm... when we called Support several days ago days ago we were told that the absence of this badge was a known glitch (first reported 10 days prior to my phone call)... that the badge was broken and appearing only for some sellers... that the problem had been reported to the tech team... and that my ID would be added to the list of those impacted. The situation never improved... until we made this change ourselves. Bottom line: it wasn't broken at all. The qualifications for displaying the badge had simply changed... without notifying sellers (or the support team) of the change.
Admittedly... it's a tough era on eBay. We're trying to stay on top of it... but it's sure frustrating.

I am sorry you have not had any sales yet this year. I hope sales pick up for you real soon.
I have had a few sales, but the sales graph looks pretty sad. Down 58% compared to last year at this time. January is usually a good month for me here. Maybe buyers are just getting a late start to post holiday shopping and sales will pick up before month end.

4 days in , and one of my accounts has already reached 50% of the entire month of December's pathetic sales. (knock on wood) Worst December in 3 years. Took most of Dec. '16 off.
The items that sold are all things that I list continuously with multiples available. Not seasonal, holiday, vacation, weather related.
I attribute the sales to the "eBay bucks" certificates being issued. That, or just eBay showing some of my items so that I have some loose change to pay the invoice that just happened to pop in after 3 of the sales. (2nd lowest monthly "items sold" count in the past 4 years)

Very happy for you, keep up the great work! I am thrilled to report that within the past hour I finally got not 1, not 2 but 3 sales-whoo hoo!! My whining paid off. Or perhaps you're right, those eBay bucks are being spent. Very thankful for this turn around. Hoping it continues for us both : )

I caught some "bonus bucks" this past quarter on some shipping supplies, so I have a bit more than usual : > )
Will use mine toward some more supplies, or maybe for the back up satellite cable that I cut when burying my new internet dish cable : > (

The change was very definitely "announced" and quite a while back.
Only TRS sellers who add Free Returns to their listings will see the badge appear on those listings now.
Although I'm surprised 'support' didn't know that (or maybe not).
