Got up this morning to alot of CHA-CHINGS! And it isn't stopping. It appears that sales are coming in for a 6 pc. wicker patio set that do not have listed and it's going for $16.22...free shipping. Wow! Called eBay and cannot speak with a human. I am just wondering if anyone is having, or has had the same problem?? Along with the sales, there are a bunch of questions coming in from these different 'buyers'. Nothing is going into my PayPal account, thank God. I have changed my password, security questions, and checked all other account info.
I appreciate any suggestions.... :o}

Sounds to me that you are making all the sales and some unknown person is receiving the payment In your name.
But, I see only one sale today, for a pair of shoes.

Using the word "Wicker" and doing a search of your account, I see a Wicker basket for sale and no (Zero) sales with the word wicker in the title.

Yes, the shoes were an actual sale. Account has been hacked then?

Hi. I hope you have gotten some progress with eBay since you posted early this a.m
344 plus is huge. It is unacceptable by eBay. I googled some solutions (not in seller hub) In addition to changing pw etc. I would also contact PayPal and tell them your account HAS BEEN STOLEN, compromised hacked. Here is eBay cs # 866 961 9253- (lately you can't even get a call back number) Call PayPal and alert them since that is where the money is. I think if you can get a supervisor with eBay and PayPal on the line and relay to them- You can't trust them at this point to continue this business partnership. I would also refer the questions from buyers to eBay to answer. I have been going through this with eBay for 5 weeks-being charged as many as 344 times for scheduled listing fees I didn't make. Only when I yelled-NO TRUST IN OUR PARTNERSHIP -did I see someone take action. Just persevere and I hope you see progress today.

The wicker furniture listing is listed as being the UK, so you may not see it unless you change your default item location:
You should end that listing as soon as possible, and then contact eBay here:

Wow, sorry that has happened to you!
I have no advice better than what has already been given. I just wanted to say how sad it is that those buyers can't seem to figure out it is a scam listing. Most sets are $5-600 and up, but they think they are REALLY going to get it for $17? (With free shipping no less!)
I guess as long as people are greedy, there will be others that will scam them. Sucks that you got involved thru no fault of your own. Good luck to you in getting this straightened out! 🙂

I finally got through to eBay - through the button 'Have eBay contact you'. They have been very helpful and are taking care of it now. At present, the sales are up to 724! This item was never listed by me, so I'm not sure that I could even change the item location or anything else...?
My new problem seems to be that over 200 of my listings have just disappeared and are not even in the unsold folder. 😩

Sorry to hear you are having to deal with this ordeal! Since it looks like you were finally able to speak to someone other than a robot, I am confident they will assist you further and restore your listings. Unless those were destroyed by some other entity. I always held the opinion that there should be a folder for Deleted items, for a case like this or when the seller just accidentally deleted a listing. eBay does not offer any method to sellers to restore their listings on their own, and I am not certain they themselves can do it.
But this whole episode reeks of hacking. And eBay wants us to send them out checking account number, social sec. number etc. come July - no, thanks.
I have seen enough.
Good luck to you!

So glad to hear you got eBay and they are on it. You should be able to end the fraudulent listings yourself. As for the missing items, whoever hacked you may have taken down some of your listings, tho i can’t imagine why. Ebay has been known to remove year- old listings that showed no sales, but it is too coincidental with the timing.

Thank you all for your replies & encouragement. More time will be spent today trying to right the ship.
What a mess! All buyers were from the UK and are now demanding a refund! Still missing over 200 listings, and on top of that, I lost alot of FEEDBACK! Now I'm afraid to list anything. 😢

Make sure you secure your account for the moment, including ending all listings.
You need to run a spyware/malware scanner to deep clean any nasties in your computer. Someone has gotten your password, most likely through a phishing email of some sort.
After you clean your computer and make sure it's locked down, go back and change all your passwords AGAIN. If you had a keylogger the hacker can just get your new passwords.

99.9% of the time the hack is into the seller's computer, most likely from a phishing email. Ebay has zero control over their users' computers.

You've been hacked. If the payments aren't in your PayPal then it's likely that they got your eBay password and created a fake listing with a different email address.
The first question is...how did they get you password.
Change your eBay password. Run malwarebytes and hitman pro (has a free trial) to see if there's anything on your system. Then start in safe mode with networking and run them again. Do this for any computer you've used to access eBay. And finally change your password again. It's not a guarantee but it's a good option.
Your PayPal account may not be involved but it's best to change that password as well.
On a side note...I'm surprised (sadly not terribly surprised) that more than 700 people would enter their credit card number for a 6-piece wicker patio set for $16.22.
