I got this in my ebay today 30-day or Good Til Cancelled duration free listing but ebay got rid of 30 day listing for fixed price. So either ebay messed up AGAIN! in the mailing. Or ebay messed up AGAIN! Because when trying to list items it will only let me Good Til Cancelled fixed priced listing and it won't let me do 30 day listing. So ebay which is THE WORLD WONDERS!

You have to love that they do not practice what they preach with there own policy's. EBay's here to protect buyers from bait and switch seller's but hey sellers we here at ebay will bait and switch you.

I wish I could help you ebay cut it's services by laying off workers here in the USA and moving there customer's service department to Asia. EBay's total work force is about 10,000 small for a company of there size, most small cap company's have work forces larger then this, and big cap company's have several hundred thousand's to millions of worker. So your not going to get much help from ebay customer's service department.
Here's a recent example of what I am dealing with. Buyer did not pay for item. I filed non payment on buyer. Buyer called customer's service department said they paid and ebay reps took them at there word instead of checking ebay's system that clearly shows I got no payment from the buyer. So ebay rep removed the non payment on the buyers. I called ebay and said they did not pay and the ebay system shows they did not pay. So ebay said your right but wait a week and see if they pay you after that week passes if they don't then call us back to get you final values fee's back, so I had to wait a week and I did that and got my money back but the buyer did not get a strike. But wait it did not end there over two weeks after that the buyer filed The buyer didn't receive the item with a Buyer requested wanting a full A refund! **bleep** I never got paid I got my ebay final value fee's refunded to me, but I now have to refund a non paying buyer?? Called ebay up they said sorry you are right you never were paid we will remove this from your Resolution Center, well that was last Monday and guess what it's still in my Resolution Center! That my buyer has requested a refund for a item they never paid me for. That left hands and right hands not knowing what they are doing that we heard earlier, is what's going on here.

well there are other platforms online not as big as ebay but each year they grow more so the ones that have free listing and only charge you when you sell your item. 20 years ago nobody could compete against ebay and they controled 90 % of online auctions. And amazon just sold books and ebay was the bigger company. Now ebay has less then 50% of online auctions and Amazon towers over ebay. History refers to the Ottoman Empire as the “Sick Man of Europe” It fell apart piece by piece for over 300 years until it's being torn a part at the end of the first World War. I feel ebay is the “Sick Man of the internet” A company with not clear direction. Lacking inventory like it's Large Cap and Mid Cap online rivals. And no customer service towards it's real customers who are it's sellers. Who love going to rival Small Cap internet company's that cater to there needs like offering free listing with no listing limits, and allow sellers to take there ebay feedback rating with them when they start selling on there sites. Also nobody goes onto to ebay to search and buy and item any more. That falls to goggle search so goggle sends buyers to many other sites making it that much harder for people to notice your items here on ebay.

Well there is a problem with that "They do show up in ending soon searches." Since ending soon searches happened in the last 24 or is it 12 hours. Because most sellers are canceling there fixed price listing more then 24 hours before they are to end because they don't want there items with the new GTC policy auto renewing and sticking them with a boat load of unwanted fee's. So how are people going to see the items in the ending soon searches? Also as I said in a early post most people search using goggle and guess what there is no ending soon searches on goggle online shopping, but goggle does have a new items search runs counter to ebay search setting since it will not pick up when a item is about to end but it also works against the goggle new items search because the GTC policy auto renewing KEEPS THE ITEM FROM ENDING SO YOU CAN RELIST IT AGAIN! Getting you on the goggle new items search setting. The internet has passed ebay by in the 1990's people wanted that ending soon searches. That was then this is now and the mind set for people today is what is listed most recently is what they want to see now times have changed.
