I got a little excited about the new change announced at the eBay Open that 24 pictures are allowed instead of 12. I can't really say that I need 24 pictures, because I rarely use all 12 pictures, although I know I should. Well, this morning I tried to list my first listings with more than 12 pictures. Oooppsss.... not yet, the function isn't active yet. Looking forward to it though.

...ditto
I just created a new listing and 24 slots were available.
The Thursday night update did it.

Just noticed it today - it’s active now (I had no idea beforehand) was adding photos and noticed limit said 24 not 12, got really excited as well .. contacted customer service , got confirmation - it’s now 24 with no extra fees. Huge change!!!

Listing manually on eBay is terrible . So clunky!!!

Yep! It’s 24 now for everything! Or at least all my categories I checked..

Yeah! It’s awesome - I mean , maybe not huge for most categories , like how many pictures can you take of a brand new DVD right ? Lol but I do a lot of used shoes - ppl want to see every angle of them! (I swear they think I’m hiding some huge hole or something) I usually have 14. I bet the algorithm will favor higher photo counts too - sellers will have to start getting creative with cropping and angles . Personally I’m not telling anyone , I want to keep this an unknown secret for as long as possible ! Haha (at least until the influencers realize it and 499 YouTube videos come out..)

takes me like 2 min tops to make a listing - not saying the new tool is great, but takes no more time then the old tool did, use templates.

I think you had to pay $1 or $2 additional to get more pictures. I could be wrong, that was a while back.
IIRC, the additional pictures were 15 cents each.

Shoes are a perfect example of an item that needs more than 12 pics. In the past, I've had other things that I took lots of pics and then had to select the top 12 pics.
Oh, and it's not a secret anymore. You just told EVERYONE !!!!

I can't wait to end all my listings and relist with 24 pictures. LOL.

1st listing I did today used 21 pics for a Lot of 4 items.
1 pic of all 4 together and 5 pics of each item, all four sides and the inside.
Always hated having to figure out which pertinent pics to leave out to make the 12.

@ten_o_nine
End your listings?
Couldn't you just revise and add more photos?
Or perhaps you are looking for that fresh start on those without watchers.

Ending them would be easier so you can capture all angles of the item instead of guessing what to update
