200 free listings through April on non-store accounts

I just saw in my seller hub and offer for 200 free listings, fixed and/or auctions through April. I got in on all my non store ID's. It says "in addition to the 50 free" Just an fyi

Re: 200 free listings through April on non-store accounts

"Good luck getting anything done about it though."

I got a reply.  Either I didn't make myself understood or the person thought I was unfamiliar with the problem and said they included a partial screenshot of the offer.

I emailed back and explained it again...got a different support person who wanted the message id's.  I gave him 14 of them that *should* have gone to the 8 free relist auctions *or* back to the "unsold items" folder but were ticking the counter on my 200.

I haven't gotten a reply back yet (still blaming covid), and while the 200 Free counter is still ticking over without my input (currently at 69 used)...I now have a *second* 200 Free Listings.

I don't know if they found the bug and sent a corrected copy, I'm kind of afraid to activate it.  I think I'm going to wait until the first one fills up before I activate it.  I just hope the first one hasn't nulled out the remaining free relists on the auction items when it relisted them.

I also just now got another 200 free offer. I think I messed up as I went ahead and activated it also. Now I don't know which one I should use.

Any clues?

It doesn't matter. Once activated it's up to ebay's system which one it uses.

Ah well that's different. If an auction qualifies for the 8 automatic free relists then you're correct, that should not be coming off of the promo.

I have a new account I'm working on and I've been using some auctions with the 8 free relists. I can also confirm that those automatic free relists are coming off of the 200 listings promo. I listed a handful of items yesterday which correctly came off the promo, then later that night about a dozen auctions that are using the 8 automatic free relists rolled over and all of them came off of the promo. I don't think it's supposed to work that way. @Anonymous brian@ebay

I put on my Big Girl Pants and activated the second offer...the next bunch of auctions due to roll over came off the first 200 Free Promo, the second one is sitting there activated and empty.

So I presume they're going to fill up the first one, hopefully NOT on the second one...and I really hope it didn't erase the remaining free relists when the promo rolled them over.

I'm still going to blame covid for every bad thing.

Hi @coffeebean832, will you share with me a link to the terms & conditions or the promotion overview page so I can work on getting some answers related to this promo?

I wish I'd gotten 200 free listings. I'm currently sitting at home with nothing much to do but list extra stuff around the house.

@bar-29368

i mentioned on another thread where i received 2, identical offers for 200...and i have a store. only one account..a lightbulb just went off in my head, when i downgraded from basic to starter 1.5 years ago, suddenly i had 2 duplicate offers...one as tho i didnt have a store, then one for the store...the duplicate was considered bogus...that duplicate offer sat there until i brought it up to a blue and then it disappeared...i was more concerned for new sellers who wouldnt understand, use it, the get charged fees.

I ain't got the brains to make this up (Fantastic Beasts)

Re: 200 free listings through April on non-store accounts

Okay, so the first 200 Free Listings filled up almost exclusively with auction items that were rolling over with the 8 Free Relists (or should have been rolling over on the 8 relists)

That left me with the second 200 Free Listings and color me gobsmacked when the next batch of auctions ending and rolling over are coming off the *second* "200 Free Relists"  just like they did on the first one.

I've fired off another message to support, tho' they didn't reply to the second one last night when I sent the message ID's they requested shortly before the second 200 Free Listings dropped.

Re: 200 free listings through April on non-store accounts

I also got the double 200 free listings and I had 18 new ones that went on tonight plus I had 33 that were rolling over on the free re-lists that went against the free 200 so now I have 149 left when I should have 182.

Yep, both of them are treating auctions like fixed price listings.
