1st time seller with payment pending question

So I just sold my first item of a Nintendo switch game (Mario Party 😎 and after the buyer had paid it had it was going through PayPal. I have checked PayPal on summary and activity but don't see anything to do with eBay. I have read that because I am a new seller, it could take up to 21 days to get the funds. What I am worried about is if it is safe to ship while it is being processed through PayPal.

Once it is "paid" PayPal will show the pending payment in your account.

DO NOT ship until you see a payment in PayPal.

@orgl-glo-ksobhrmnvj do not ship until you log into PayPal and see that it says payment received.   Do not believe payment emails as they can be faked.

Your funds will be released from PayPal about 24 business hours after tracking that you upload to eBay and PayPal  shows delivery.

After 48 hours from close of sale if you have not been paid then this what you do:

When you do not get paid you have to file an unpaid item case. You have 32 days from date of sale to file the case to get your sellers fees back and give the non payer a strike on their account.

File the case here: http://resolutioncenter.ebay.com/

You can file a case as soon as 48 hours after close of sale.
You have to return to the case and close it after 96 if the buyer still has not paid to get your sellers fees back. THEN after the case is closed you relist.

Add them to your blocked bidder list. http://pages.ebay.com/services/buyandsell/biddermanagement.html

Re: 1st time seller with payment pending question

Even if you are new with payment holds, the transaction will still show up in Paypal once a buyer pays. You can see it, along with all the details. If you do not see a payment after logging in to your Paypal account (do this by opening a new browser window, never NEVER through an email link), then you have NOT been paid.

If you received an email stating you have been paid, and that payment does NOT show in your Paypal account, you have NOT BEEN PAID. Do NOT ship. Scammers send very real looking fake payment emails hoping to trick new sellers into shipping without being paid. This is why you never, ever, ever give a buyer your email or phone number. NEVER. They do not need it for anything. (don't know if you did or not, just putting this out there for anyone reading.)

You need to file the unpaid item dispute 48 hours after the listing ended and close it out 96 hours later to get your fees credited.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

You will see a new entry @orgl-glo-ksobhrmnvj at PayPal with "OK to Ship" and "Eligible" in the transaction details, EVEN IF THE PAYMENT IS PENDING:

Re: 1st time seller with payment pending question

Others have provided you great advice but I noticed no one told you this, DO NOT sell an expensive electronic item on Ebay if you are a brand new seller. Right now being a 'new' seller you are a PRIME target for the scammers and your chances are even more heightened being in the electronics category! If you are insistent upon selling that item on here maybe list it as a local pick-up only if you live in a larger city.

I would HIGHLY advise starting out with smaller, cheaper items to get the feel of how things work. Of course if you are going to sell it on here it helps also to vet the buyer that is buying. If the account is brand new, newly created with no feedback personally I would NEVER risk it! Make NO mistake that you can have 'no returns' on the listing but that doesn't mean 'no refunds'! So someone can buy your item, open a return request and EBay's MBG will trump anything you say! The buyer can lie, send back an empty box, a rock doesn't matter and Ebay WILL force you to refund and when you stammer and complain they will advise you that its the 'cost of doing business' so basically sorry about your luck.
