Well there is a first time for everything. 11 years selling on ebay and not one paypal case opened against us till yesterday. Completely won the case in ebay. Few hours later got the text. This situation makes us nervous. Paypal hates ebay right now. Cant help but wonder are they just going to give there money back and let them keep the item? Any thoughts? Best regards

Buyer must return the item to you. Do not refund instantly. In case details you can choose the option.

Depends on what type of case and each type has a different solution and sometimes a different outcome. If its SNAD they'll return something and you refund. If unauthorized use and you shipped to the address on file with pp they'll cover the loss....

You're not really giving us a whole lot of detail here. What was the nature of the eBay dispute? What are they now claiming via PayPal?

We sold the item, it was 500.00 shipped to them got there no problems. Then she said she wanted to return, said no problem. Then she changed her mind and decided to keep it and closed the case on her end. Then changed her mind again and said she had reviewed her money situation and she now wants to return again. Said ok no problem. Well she must have called ebay and whatever they told her must have not made her happy. She then texted and said ebay was no help and she is now ecalating to paypal. Thats the last i heard from her. Best regards

Paypal will make her return the item back to you on her dime. She has to provide tracking & when it arrives, Paypal will return her the money. You may or may not get the original item you shipped. As long as she has tracking she can return a empty coke can, keep your item & get a full refund. Selling online can be Risky Business but it the nature of the game.

I'm pretty sure that eBay will only allow one return request. Since she closed the first request, eBay likely told her "sorry, you can't open another request".

Don't sweat it. PayPal is really cool about assisting when a dispute is opened up. Just call them.
