1099k Mismatch with real numbers. Request for correction sent 02/02 through CS. Was promised that form will be re checked by 02/14. Nothing. Contacted CS again 02/15, at this time they asked to wait 3 more business days. Today is 02/19 and still nothing.  Want to be done with taxes. But eBay makes problem with taxes for thousands of sellers. May be someone from eBay will do, what they should?!

why have I not received my 1099 in the mail from Ebay? I thought the deadline was by Jan 31? Who do I contact to have a paper copy mailed to me?

     If you exceeded the reporting thresholds either Federal or State and should have gotten a 1099 but have not at this point you should contact the IRS. EBay is WAY past the deadline of 31 January to have them completed. If they are not available to you in your reports then you likely won't get one by mail either. If it shows up in your reports it takes awhile to make it through the USPS system but you should have gotten it by now.

Really ? It's how eBay worries about their Top Sellers?! Everything from forum, conversations with CS will be send to IRS for Investigation. Because I did everything to resolve it.

REFUNDS ARE included in the gross on the 1099K  you need to subtract them from the total on the 1099K

Same thing is happening to me. They didn't have an sales data for me last year for Jan, Feb and part of March ( which made my 1099k wrong). I initially contacted them on Feb 7th, 2022 and several times since then. It's now March 16th and all they can say is "it's already been escalated" and "sorry for the wait". Legally, these guys have until Feb 28th to get out corrected 1099s. The IRS needs to slap their hands for the sloppy handling of so many sellers 1099's. It's completely  unacceptable.

     For January, February and part of March of 2021 were you by chance not converted to MP yet? If so then your 1099 for that period would come from PayPal. I am pretty sure, although eBay will never disclose this, that they are paying some hefty fines to the IRS for the 1099 screw ups. If you have not called the IRS at this point it is probably too late to get a corrected 1099 if you exceeded the threshold, either Federal or State, and you will need to explain the issues when you file your taxes.
