I sell used stuff and people buy it.

Now, if I could only find more used stuff to list, more people would buy it.  🙁

You do realize eBay is a worldwide business; not only for US shoppers?  Not limited to the US population.  😀

Yep - the US is all of about 25% of eBay's total market.

Do sell stuff that is in demand...Check

Never place I accept returns, however I do never had a issue...Check

Sold more used items when I only listed 200 items...Check

Very GOOD titles recommended by ebay...Check

I Don't argue with customers in feedback only point out scams..Check

Ebay just recently made up the extortion traffic scam, to milk sellers out of more money. Ebay traffic is not base on what you are selling, it is base on how much you selling it for.  New or used.  Check!

The most successful multi-million dollar sellers on ebay sells only used items, not new.  Do your research! Check!

I get offers for my USED OBSOLETE items all the time, however, I turn them down for a variety of reasons...i.e. scam address, to low price, etc.. Check!

Due, ebay no longer giving traffic to sellers without paying for that traffic, I have my new items on other sites, and only push mostly used and not working items on ebay.  Most items in your store you sell are used yet you trying to tell me don't sell used items.  Check!

YOU prove my point great, that makes me Happy: Ebay have, and continue to put so many Hoops in front of sellers as to jump through, that sellers has become numb from being shock, and accept the shock.  Check!

Even your sells have dropped, and you had to jump through ebay hoops, and spend more money to get some sells. Double Check!

The Value of a item has nothing to do with the price. Business 101.

It is about marketing your item, new or used! Ebay new traffic reward system (Hoop Shock) is ebay method of making more money by giving sellers Up Sales Traffic Rewards to sell items. Hummmm, where have I seen, and heard  this business method before? If ebay push just a minimum traffic to my store, all my used obsolete items would be sold out.  However, ebay want sellers to jump through hoop shock, and pay money to get views.  Ebay method is not about pay to play. It is about pay, and keep paying just to sit on ebay.

There was a time, not to long ago, ebay sellers did not have to do Heavy marketing to get traffic, and make sales. Ebay gets enough daily traffic to send small and big sellers traffic to their stores. No seller should  have items in their stores with Zero Views. Yet I see you have many items in your store with zero views.  Ebay want you to keep paying up sales to get a little views here and there.

Business is not about what you are selling, it's about marketing what you sell.  You can write the best title, put in a return method, etc., no traffic no sales.  If I listed a used item, with one picture, no title, and just states it works, with traffic going to that item, it will sell fast.

Re: 109 Million People Visit Ebay Monthly, How Many Visit My Store?

I just now  looked at the 300+ listings associated with the id you posted under. My first time ever to see any of your items. I have only been here 16 years, and among those items, I believe I have never  yet searched at any time for any single item included among your listings. Ebay selling MUST  be a great big game of chance.  I do buy used  items quite frequently and  never  buy new ASIAN imports of the dollar store variety.  I can go to the dollar store down the street, return home and have the item self-destruct within hours or minutes of my purchase, subsequently throwing it away the same day instead of waiting a week or more for an ebay seller to ship/deliver it to me so that I can also discard same almost immediately.  I usually buy collector and hobby stuff.

Re: 109 Million People Visit Ebay Monthly, How Many Visit My Store?

Say what you want to say but not many people are looking for half of the items that you have listed in your store. Your titles are short, keywords and structure not good. Your trying to sell palm pilots, and old flip phones when almost every single person on the planet has a smart phone/tablet. Not once did I try and tell you not to sell pre-owned items and in fact I think people should if you want to get the most amount of profit. You sell in over 20+ different categories and your telling us that you've researched the competition in every single one of those and researched how to make the best title, description etc... Aside from the actual item that you are selling, titles are the most important on eBay. If you have items that have extremely slow sell thru rates and your titles are not good then don't expect to me at the top of search especially if you couple that with to high of a price. I have zero issues with traffic or sales. I get consistent traffic & consistent sales each and every day and have proved it to multiple people on here that call me out. You can sit their can continue to blame eBay all you want but it's still not going to change the fact that what your selling and the effort your putting in is not getting you the results that you want. Also, pertaining to my sales, I am up year over year and they have not dropped.June sales.pngAugust sales.pngScreenshot (11).png

People want only new items??? between my kid and I we do consistent 30k a month on ebay selling majority used items. Everyone has a different model but my 2 closest friends are ebay sellers that do 30-40 and their accounts selling used mostly used items.

I personally go to Amazon for new items, ebay can't compete there.

In the last 2 years, I have listed 5-6 vintage Motorola flip phones & each one sold very quickly.  UK, Australia & Hong Kong.  There goes 1 of your arguments.

Re: 109 Million People Visit Ebay Monthly, How Many Visit My Store?

That's great but having a sell thru rate of 1 every 4 months isn't going to get you a lot of sales/isn't a sustainable business model unless you have tens of thousands of them listed. I never said that they don't sell, I said that most people nowadays have the latest and greatest phones/tablets and unless those vintage phones are in high demand for collectibility then they aren't going to get much traffic and/or going to take a long time to sell. I appreciate your input.
