I've activated a $10 final value fee which is good from 3/8/18 to and including 3/12/18. Let's say I post an item for sale before the offer expires. If the item sells AFTER this offer expires do I still get the $10 final value fee since the item was posted within the time frame Ebay gave me? Or does the item have to sell before 3/13/18?

With other similar fvf promotions that I've seen, the item doesn't have to be sold in that time period, just listed during that time. In order to qualify for the promotion price the item has to be sold before it is relisted or if it is a gtc listing, before the 30 days are up.

I'm not sure if it was the promotion you are referring to, but there was a thread on this yesterday, and the OP expressed the same concern and question.
It was said that the terms were vague; however, the terms listed, items selling in the Promotion Period. So if the item sold during the time frame of the Promotion, THEN it was covered.
This promotion says for 24% off FVF, though, here is the link:

You’re right, it does read like that but we had a similar promotion in Canada recently with similar wording and the fvf credit was given on items sold after the promotion period...that type of promo has always worked like that. They probably use the same wording over and over and just change the dates, not even noticing that it is worded poorly.
