$1 Final Value Fee PROMO

Hello,

I sold an item on $1 Final Value fee promo and I got charged only $1 Final Value fee which is fine. However, the buyer turned out to be an unpaying buyer. I am wondering, if I do a SECOND CHANCE OFFER to next highest bidder, will the promo of $1 Final Value apply or not? Or, if I relist the item, is the promo still on or I will be charged a full Final Value fee?

Let me know thanks.

@raviraviluke

Not sure of your other questions, but if it's been at least two days since the auction ended without payment, make sure you open an Unpaid Item claim against your deadbeat bidder.  If he/she doesn't respond, after 96 hours you can close the claim and your FVFs will be refunded to you.  Then, add him/her to your BBL so they can't pull the same trick again on another listing.

Here's more info about filing an Unpaid Item claim and the timing involved: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/resolving-unpaid-items?id=4137

If you relist the item it will NOT qualify (listing had to be made within the specified time).

If you sell it on a 2nd chance offer you MIGHT get the promo fee. I do not know for sure.

Of course even if you don't get the promo fee a sale is a sale, I'd rather have 90% of something over 99% of nothing.
