I've been trying to sell my CSCP books from a course I took last year and am running into a peculiar situation. I've sold it 3 times (had 4 offers) from unique 0 feedback buyers that never pay.  Anyone had that happen before? I thought that I had set my account to not have anyone with less than 5 (maybe it was just negative only, been a long time) to not be able to bid.

Morning,

The setting you are referring to is a -1 feedback which really is useless.

One thing you can do is list it as a Buy It Now and then choose immediate payment required. This will at least stop folks from distrupting the check out process of purchasing it and then never paying.

Hope this helps.

There's no way to set your account so that you don't have to accept bids from buyers with less than 5 feedback.  And since buyers cannot receive negative feedback, that particular exclusion won't work either.

You're right, I didn't even think about that option. I'm going to have to check and see how to do that, I forgot all about it.  Seems though, that they're some kind of "Troll" that bids to get the listing removed for a period.  This item is often sold as original, but then the seller's want to send you a pdf (I know, because I tried to buy one before my company paid for the course).

Why not sell this Fixed Price with Immediate Payment Required? That will solve your nonpayment issue.

There is a block that stops buyers from buying more than a certain number of items if their feedback is a certain level. Maybe that's the one you're thinking of?
