I think we have all had fraudulent sales/buyers before but today took the cake.  A buyer purchased a $13.99 item from me and when I went to print the shipping label, the ONLY option was UPS GROUND 150 lbs or more.  I checked the shipping address and there was a phone number in the address field. (Needless to say I was P.O.d) I sent the buyer a message to send me her PHYSICAL address to ship to. Then after no response and over an hour on the phone with 5 people I finally got the $.30 refunded back to me, reported the buyer, canceled the sale, refunded bc of issue with address. Yada Yada Yada. I want to know how the heck does a sale complete without LETTERS and NUMBERS in that first line? That is an EBAY IT department issue. At least for the US sellers and sales for the USA. ALL addresses require letters and numbers even if it's a PO BOX.  And God forbid you try to explain this to chat, phone, emails and to anyone who will listen but this is a simple fix.  (An EX IT Professional) ... So, I sold a motherboard and CPU combo about a month ago and thought everything was peachy until I got a return request from the buyer a little less than a week ago (even though I explicitly put in the listing that returns were not accepted). I asked him to send me a video of the motherboard and CPU hooked up to a power supply and connected to a display, but he said he "couldn't". I just want to make sure, but how do I file a case against this? I clicked the "Report Buyer" button under Feedback, but is there something else I should do or someone I should contact on Ebay? I haven't given the buyer their refund yet because I was incredibly skeptical of their claim and wanted to wait until the item arrived, but I still have until 2-3 days from now to give them their refund. I even have video evidence of the items still in perfect working condition. I had to pay for return shipping out of my own pocket, so is there any sort of compensation I can receive from this or is this guy just going to get away with a false claim? ... View more

I've purchased in a item from seller on ebay on march 2nd, nearly couple weeks later the seller never sent the item, so I asked Ebay to step in, the seller then got in touch with me to refund me but ebay put it on hold for some reason and wanted more information from seller. I've sent evidence of everything, screen shot ebay pending payment from the seller. I then waited nearly week to then ebay wanting more information when it's all there information in black & white. So gave them Id number, translation number, then I waited to then ebay replying by email to say we cant refund you get in touch with paypal. I then said the seller refund but ebay put it on hold. I've purchased a item with ebay and I've been patient, and feels like ebay are messing me around. I then sent another email to them ignoring me when all I want is my refund back. I've waited over 2 weeks for notting. I look at post that was sold to me to then ebay shutting post down saying it's been 90 days, but I bought item on 2nd of March and waited for my refund to mess me around again. I'm a new seller I been selling for a month. I would like to know if it's okay to cancel and order because of wrong price. I had Amazon Blink for parts because I honestly thought it was broken. The light was flashing red. I sold the one that is working. When it was time to send them off I didn't know which one was the broken one. So I hooked everything up through the blink app and both cameras are working. So I cancelled the order since it's not for parts anymore. I'm disabled and didn't realize to delete whole system and add it back. I got message from buyer saying he wanted his product. I made up something like I didn't realize it was for parts. I have a whole lot of magazines on different subjects.  I'm having pretty good results from listing some in small lots, as many I can fit into one of the Priority envelopes.  I tried this with another magazine and no sales.  I am not sure but it's possible people interested in that magazine want to buy just the issues they want (content) not a random collection.    So, if I sell individual magazines it appears that using First Class is not terribly expensive, less than the flat rate envelopes. But that would only work if the magazine  weighs less than 15 oz which means probably no stiffening. Do any of you sell single magazines? Any tips and advice? ... View more

ebay just switched me over to their new selling view, and the running total of bids on active items no longer appears on the screen and I have tried everything to find it.  I have tried every combination of clicks I can find, and it will give me a 90 day total, but What I want is to see the total dollar amount on bids I have on active items. Hello,    I have recently started to list items onto Ebay and sell. Whenever i sell an item it just says "awaiting payment" and under it it says "your money will be available on _____" that would be a date. Do I ship the items and update tracking info. I am lost on what to do I plan on listing more items but what is holding me back is this. Ebay is trying to collect on money that hasn't been released. The collectible wait and return time should be amended due to tampering which will cause loss of value as a seller and left open to fraud. How can they allow this one sided practice? Then they have the gaul to bill me for the ebay fees prior to releasing my payments. If people are dishonest with ebay they could scam the sellers without issue.   My store looks like this:     Not sure why it shows 5 of the same product... I only have ONE of this product listed in my store. I think it was my first product, but still- over the past week I have been adding many other products. The storefront items here haven't changed at all!
