It is now 4 WEEKS since ebays gaffe re auto relist where by 700+ of my “auto relist until sold” items were not “auto relisted”. I have emailed on average twice a day to see see if their error has been fixed, at least 3 quarters of these emails have been completely IGNORED a few
have said they are looking into it and a couple have said they have “followed up” the messages on my account.! 2 PROMISED (1 "chat" and 1 email )to get back to me in 72hrs (max) to tell me it was fixed this is now TWO WEEKS ago and I have heard nothing!
I have been using ebay for 18 years and every item (well over 10,000) I have listed as auction in this time has been set to "auto relist until sold" yet numerous ebay reps say "the box was not ticked to auton relist" Like 700 after 18 years was MY mistake PLEASE!! I mean I evan have a screen shot (asked for by ebay way back when I started my complaint) showing under each of these 700 + items, now for 4 weeks ,ALL in my unsold folder however ALL stating underneath "relist until item sells" that last week ebay thought it prudent to remove presumably to TRY and cover up this huge error. I have no bought to sell, listed or relisted items in these 4 weeks it is costing me a fortune in sales (and ebay but they can afford such WAY better than I ) I have even had an ebay "rep" SAY there was never a message on ebay saying SOME of the auto relist options were being done away with "early 2022" but NOT "auto relist until sold" When I copied pasted that ebay message in my reply to ebay again I was just completely ignored. Is there anyone out there able to tell me firstly if this gaffe has now been fixed? Secondly where does one now find the "automatic rules " choices box and thirdly how to I bulk relist all these auction items that have now been in unsold box for a MONTH!?

You're right, eBay did change the automation rules in the Winter Selling Update, which was posted 02-09-2022, and were supposed to go into effect that month. Before, they were subscription-based, and now they are free for all sellers. There have been a few other reports about automatic relisting ending early, or unexpectedly, in the last few weeks, and it's probably because of the changes.
I would recommend that you read the info that was posted about this, and try setting up your automation rules again. Maybe turn them off, and then back on again. Hopefully, they will continue to work as expected after that.

Thanks for that but it not explain how I auto relist in BULK the 700 + items that were set to Auto relist and are all in unsold . ONLY bilk listing option in unsold box appears to sell these at buy it now's? AND do you know if I do have to go through SEVEN HUNDRED ODD ITEMS ONE BY ONE (through no fault of my own) where is the select "auto relist until sold " tab or is this no longer needed? and are you /ebay saying we no longer need to "auto relist until sold" as this will now be the default for auction listings?

It also appears you lacemaker3 are based in USA often different "rules" time frames prices etc for ebay UK users . But thank you anyways.

@binnes2 I use a lot of Auctions ... not as many as you but I use the Bulk Editor to relist in bulk, just use the check box beside the items you want to Relist in the Unsold file then use the Relist button at the top of the list ... they will move to the Bulk Editor and you can Relist them in bulk and you are NOT restricted to just using the Relist as fixed priced choice they show you on the left of each item ...
As @lacemaker3 points out, the new Auto Relist function eBay has instituted may not be working correctly so you may have to go back through the process to get it active again ...
For myself, I am not interested in that function at this time so do the Relisting manually.

@mr_lincoln thank you for this But I have recently checked out the unsold box that actually has over 2,000 in it (no idea why unless these were buy it now that have been on for too long?) anyway the tab sellect all ONLY has option of "relist as buy it now" as most folks my pricing policy differs fro buy it now to auction items so this is NOT helpful I want them relist as they were at prices they were for durations they were and I want to do it in ten minutes not ten weeks if I have to do them one by one?

Yes, and since you asked your question on the eBay USA community boards, that is to be expected. If you prefer to ask other responders in the UK, you can start with the links below to get to the eBay UK community boards. eBay employees don't usually answer questions on either forum, the answers are provided by other eBay users.
eBay UK had the same Seller Update as the USA, from what I can see in a quick glance.
You obviously had Automatic relisting available before this update, and it says that they are "simplifying the available options". Perhaps you need to choose a new automation rule from among the simplified options. That could explain why you apparently have to set it up again.

Here's information about manually relisting your items on eBay UK. This should work for both auctions and fixed price listings. It looks as though the information about automatic relisting hasn't been updated yet, though.

@lacemaker3 thanks agin I was unaware this was the USA chat place presumed since I was logged in in UK I would be on UK board! ? As stated I have been ebaying for 18 years so I do (sorry maybe that is DID) know how list and relist manually and I thought auto but seems as always when ebay tinkers with something they screw up something else! I will try now and get on the UK version of this thanks again.

@binnes2, I found some posts here on the eBay USA boards, about bulk relisting not working about a year ago. I didn't find anything that reported a fix, unfortunately, or I would have posted it so you could try it.
I suspect that if you had gone in and updated your automation rules after the February Update, and while your listings were still active, then they might have taken effect more seamlessly. Unfortunately, since they have stopped relisting, it looks like you will have to relist them yourself. I wouldn't wait for eBay to do it.
If you find a way to do it in bulk on eBay UK, please come back and let us know here. It might help other sellers who are on the same boat.

Hi again @binnes2 ,
I "get" the frustration when a feature does not work, I have my list of them too but "ten weeks" is obviously an exaggeration ... but again, I "get" it.
I previously provided a work around for you until eBay gets the glitch fixed. You are certainly welcome to wait for the fix. You say you have 2000 items in your Unsold file instead of 700? There are no GTC Fixed Priced Buy it now items that have been on for too long, trust me. You will have to go down through that list to see if there are duplicates and see if each time an Auction ended it was placed in the Unsold file ... if they do not Relist OR you do not Delete them they will remain in the Unsold file for 90 days. On eBay's Listing tab you will need to click the "Show more" at the bottom of the tile then scroll down to the "Ended listings" . "Last 90 days" where you can use the check box to delete a bunch of the duplicates at one time ...
Sadly, maintenance is required in some of eBay's Seller Hub folders and if not managed duplicates can occur. Since the folders are yours you will have to go through the listings ... THAT information may be beneficial for eBay to determine what a fix should include with regard to how Ended Auctions are handled on the Auto Relist feature and the Unsold folders ...

@lacemaker3 thanks again . Thing is it SAID "auto relist until item sold " would NOT be effected when clearly it has been. not sure I understand what you mean if I had updated ? as far as I was (and still am) aware they are and were and as always have been listed correctly to "auto relist until item sells" For sure I will post back her If someone on UK has a solution or in the vain hope that ebay MIGHT even relpy when it fixed as they promised over a fortnight ago. Emails them again twice this morning (UK time) not even a reply of the usual uselss standrd imply it were MY fault after 18 years of them auto re listing every week !!??

@mr_lincoln hi again and thanks again. I have NO idea why there ever were ANY items in my unsold folder that had not relisted but I was cool with it as never before had ALL items that were auto relist not! 10 weeks would be manually relisting 70 a week ten a day!! which I do not see as an exaggeration but whether it is or not I have been told previous a million times not to exaggerate!! Yeah I get the last ninety days bit but my main concerns since this **bleep** up is that I go through the 700 plus relist manually and again the end up in unsold (which is expected of most of them) BUIT WITH "NOT RELISTED" Thanks again for both of yours help and understanding. BAD show whne other ebay users show WAY more help and understanding than the ebay staff that WE handsomely PAY! I guess we are all but a number to ebay and whether WE sink or swim is of no importance to THEM but obviously is to ebay users and businesses REALLY disappointed ebay to not even have a complain email address or even emails that now auto rely "thanks for your SUGGESTION" PATHETIS way to treat their fee paying customers, Rant over ofr now thanks again guys.

I don't see where it says anything about "auto relist until item sold" would not be affected.
As I posted before, the announcement says that they are "simplifying the available relisting options". So it seems likely that they may have removed or modified whichever option you were using, so you may have to re-select the option you want. Even if they didn't modify the option you had in place, if they changed the available options, they may have set it so that you have to choose your options again, rather than defaulting to one which might not be what you want.
I really doubt that eBay is going to relist your items for you, because they can't know if you still have those items available, or still want them to be listed. I'm pretty sure that you are going to have to relist them yourself.
I realize that this isn't what you expected or wanted to happen, but if you're losing money without your active listings, then I think you need to step in and take care of this yourself. At some point, you just have to recognize and accept that you will need to fix this yourself.
As @mr_lincoln suggested, you should be very careful that you still have the "unsold" items available before you relist them, since you are reporting almost 3 times as many unsold listings as you expected.

@binnes2 One of the big differences between the members here who voluntarily provide support and many of the eBay phone reps is that we USE the eBay platform and features opposed to just reading answers from a book.
It is good to keep up with the Seller Updates they provide us with because most of the time a new feature is announced in them ...

@lacemaker3 it did not SAY on the UK site "auto relist until Item sold" was not affected but it did say the two they were doing away with. thanks again.
