UPLOADS
The "draft template" option in the Hub tool allows uploading without photos, so they can be added directly from your computer within the newly created drafts. Unfortunately, the item specifics are not uploadable in a "draft tremplate". Several members have tried, but most (not all) columns that are added to a draft template are discarded when uploaded.
The "create new listings" spreadsheet expects the photos to be URLs of previously uploaded pictures. Use any large online placeholder image in the Picture URL cell of the template. Here is my image:

Add a column to set a scheduled start time (ScheduleTime) a week out with data that is formatted like this:
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS (Hours must be specified in 24-hour format)
2021-10-17 16:30:00
The upload will then create new listings in your scheduled folder. From there, you can delete the placeholder image and manually upload photos and remove the scheduling (no fee). You may need to "customize" the settings on eBay's listing tool to see and edit the scheduling if they do not appear on your listing form.
DOWNLOADS
Unfortunately, eBay doesn't have a full download feature for current listings. In the Seller Hub Reports > Downloads page, you can retrieve a lot of your listing info (Listings > Active Listings), but not the description or photos.
If you are trying to repair existing listings to update their item specifics in bulk, there is a report within Seller Hub under "Manage Active Listings".
Seller Hub -ActiveListings - Recommendations Report
You will be able to download a spreadsheet of your listings requiring repair. The XLSX format contains droplists of recommendations from which you can choose, which is extremely helpful. When you populate all of the missing items and export or save as CSV, you can upload back to eBay on the seller hub "Reports > Uploads" page.

The Uploads area of the Seller Hub Reports contains a download function to retrieve a spreadsheet template for editing, and then an upload function for submitting the populated spreadsheet back to eBay.
https://www.ebay.com/sh/reports/uploads
Seller Hub - Reports - Upload
Start by downloading a template (Get template) from the above "Uploads" screen.
For your sports cards, use these Template selectors:
Seller Hub - reports - uploads - select template
Open the file in a spreadsheet tool and fill in the details for one or more card listings that you would like to create. If you are using Business Policies, then enter the names of your shipping, payment, and return policies and leave the other shipping, payment, and return fields empty. If you are not using policies, then leave those three policy columns empty and fill in the individual shipping, payment, and return fields that apply to your listings.
After completing all of the required fields in the spreadsheet, export or save your spreadsheet as a CSV for Windows format and upload that spreadsheet to Seller Hub uploads, using the "Upload template" button shown on the landing screen in my first screenshot above.
I will be happy to help further, however, my community has been experiencing weekly 2-day power outages since Labor day, my ATT cellular internet stopped responding last week, my local WiFi service has become quite intermittent, and my computer and router are dying, and in the meantime, I am trying to install and bring up a new machine and am awaiting the new Starlink satellite service. So, if I don't respond in a timely fashion, you will know that it is unintentional and that I will return "eventually".

thank you. sorry for your computer / internet issues. Clearly you are the master at this.
I did what you said above and got the spreadsheet. Is there a way to download my current auctions in this format?
Also, how do I handle the pictures?
My 'plan' was to upload the data as draft and add the pictures. Not sure that's possible.

Hi @toddm26
If I understand correctly, you want to create new listings for sportscards through Seller Hub Reports. You can follow these steps:
1. Click the Reports tab at the top of Seller Hub.
2. Click "Uploads."
3. Click "Get template."
4. For template source, select "Listings."
5. For template type, select "Create new listings."
6. For file type, select either "Excel Spreadsheet (.xlsx)" or "Comma Separated File (.csv)."
7. Select one or more categories (you can select up to 5) and then click "Done."
8. Click "Download."
If you select .xlsx as the file type, there would be tool tips for the various columns that you may find helpful (hover your mouse over column headers to see the tool tips). There would also be drop-down menus for some columns. Item Specifics would also be color coded to help you identify which are required and which are recommended.
After filling out the template, you can upload the file. Click the "Upload template" button and then choose the file. After the file has finished processing, there will be a results file you can look at to see if there were any errors. Click "Download results."

If you're referring to the Collection beta, that would be something different. You can find information about the Collection beta at:

Thank you.
Is there a way to download my current auctions in the template? It's clear I'm missing a step because my upload has never worked. I've tried 1-2 cards at a time.

@toddm26 ,
While you can download your active items in Seller Hub Reports, the download would just have certain key information (such as title, item number, price, quantity, and custom label). It would not have the full item details. If you could send us a copy of the file you're tried uploading, we would be glad to look it over. I've sent you an email. You could reply to it and attach a copy of the file.

Thanks.. never got anything.

can you re-send the email?
Is there a way to pay for ebay help?

Hi @toddm26 ,
I've sent you an email. You can reply to that email and my team (which handles questions related to Seller Hub Replorts) would receive your reply.
As for paying for eBay help, eBay customer support is here to help for free.

I'd pay for help, because ebay doesn't provide help.

Did you receive an email from the eBay team? If so, did you send your file back to them?
Are you using a Mac? If so, your spreadsheet must be saved in Windows format.
When your upload failed, what was the message?
Was this an upload for a new listing, or a listing repair?

no email from anyone at ebay.
I've requested help for months, almost years. Are there any instructions for a PC? Any help or videos at all?
