well today i noticed that when i click on my ebay the link is as usual. when i click on selling its automatically took my to the hub? seems to be the only directory. looks cool never used it before. def liked the quickness of getting to my auctions only on the old style. but lots of new stuff. is it going to stay like this or did i make this happen lol or is there a change today?

It's going to be permanent I'm sure. I hate the fact that we can no longer see everything on one page. We have to click tabs to see active...another tab so see sold...another tab to see needing to ship...another tab to see...you get the idea...

I'm a fan of the Seller Hub. Maybe you'll find that it was simply a 'Happy Accident'. Don't be scared to play around in it.

Thanks for posting,
We have made the permanent change to move all sellers registered as business to the Seller Hub, as it has more business oriented tools and data available to you. I would give this article a look to review it's capabilities: https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/listing-and-marketing/seller-hub.html. I would spend some time playing around with it to get a better feel for the tool, and I would personally recommend giving the Performance tab a look when you get the chance; The data there like traffic reports is under-utilized by many sellers, and can pay dividends towards understanding your business and listing performance.
I know any change like this is difficult, to say the least. On a personal note, when we first announced it years back I had some reservations as well, it is definitely a big step from the classic Selling section, but after taking the time to learn it, I can't imagine going back to the classic view. Just my thoughts, for what that's worth, at any rate I would definitely take the time to get used to it and give it a fair shake.

@Anonymous
My only complaint about Seller Hub is that it really doesn't play nice with my slow DSL connection. Lots of lags and waiting when going from tab to tab and trying to list using eBay's listing page is a slow painful process (I was a Turbo Lister user for years).

Hi @readabouthorses,
That's understandable, some of those pages are pretty information heavy, so I can see how that could bog it down for you.
On the bright side, when we makes moves like this to consolidate tools, a big part behind the decision is to target our resources more effectively, to improve and enhance capabilities. I will definitely pass your feedback along, and I always recommend keeping an eye out for potential enhancements in the future.

Just a horrible invention.
As ebay said, it's a big step...but in the wrong direction.

The new seller hub is not helpful for me at all. Classic view was concise and easy to use. I waste too much time and energy trying to figure out the new, overblown, space-wasting, time-wasting format.
You are forcing me to shift most of my business to Etsy, which is user-friendly, less expensive commissions, and listing is simple. So if that's what eBay wants--to lose a long-time seller, OK. You achieved your goal.

John...you work for eBay, so of course you will publicly support their changes. They pay you for your work.
I PAY EBAY FOR THEIR SERVICES. Their changes adversely affect my ability to work, to earn an income, and I am paying eBay to use the site.
There is a huge difference between your situation and mine. eBay's arbitrary change of format negatively affects me. It would make more sense to allow users to choose their tools/formats, since we pay eBay for the use of the site.

I haven't started listing yet. Is Etsy only for homemade goods? Thanks!

@treschic53 is Etsy only for homemade goods?

Technically, talking about other selling venues is frowned upon by the mods and could get a post taken down if replied to. You will have to do your homework to have that question answered.

I did not start that discussion. I don’t have time to waste. It looks like we’re all going to be buried in the new eBay seller hub.
