well today i noticed that when i click on my ebay the link is as usual. when i click on selling its automatically took my to the hub? seems to be the only directory. looks cool never used it before. def liked the quickness of getting to my auctions only on the old style. but lots of new stuff. is it going to stay like this or did i make this happen lol or is there a change today?

I use an old iPad.
After countless hours & going back & forth with CS on Facebook, I have decided that a lot of this is that many of us sellers are not using the up to the minute computers available to those at eBay.
Anyone from eBay who is interested can come on over to my house & I can show them what I do & what I use. I have 2 computers. It doesn't work on either.
The scrolling back and forth with those teeny pictures doesn't work. I have to go to a different page to see my time left. I can't see my views there either.
The view of my items does not fit the width of the page. Scrolling back & forth is slow and the page is constantly reloading.
CS was clueless.
All of that info on seller hub is mildly interesting, but I don't need it, don't want it.
I don't have a business selling on eBay.
I do it for the extra cash.
Right now, it's becoming a waste of time.
I do know my sales are down 19% over X amount of days. How nice to have that info.
Because I can't manage my account & list with this stupid Seller Hub!!

I have a pretty up to date HP and trust me, it's no prettier on this computer. What the new format is really for is the phone users. They are expecting most people to be shopping on eBay with their phones...and I guess they figure that most people will be selling with their phones as well...
I cannot imagine doing selling on my phone EVER. If I sold a thing or two every few months...sure...not a problem in using a phone for that kind of volume - but if I am selling 70 to 80 items a month (up to 100+ in the summer), how am I supposed to keep tabs on that kind of volume on a tiny phone screen? I have a bad feeling that I would miss shipping out someone's paid order which BTW almost happened to me yesterday b/c of this new format...
...UHG!!!

i really like classic and the square box on the left to see how my sales are without going into other sections of my ebay.

so i found away around the new hub and back with the old classic. lol so when the little icon pops up on the top right as a alert. it says item paid ready ro ship. when i click on that it brings me to the old style hub. once i was there i dragged a shortcut on my desktop. now when i click on that it goes to the older style. hopefully it works forever!!!

Same here...I have the classic page bookmarked and it's the only way I can get to it.

Not specifically--you need to verify the best place for your business

John...you work for eBay, so of course you will publicly support their changes. They pay you for your work.
We all know that @Anonymous works for eBay and we all know that his contract prevents badmouthing eBay. But I strongly disagree he should stay away from forum conversations. eBay staff who engage on the forums have a better understanding of the on-the-ground issues and can take our comments and reactions back to the designers. We WANT staff to read what we are saying and to engage with us. Additionally, it is helpful to have staff fill in the information that is often missing from eBay announcements and help pages, and I want to commend John for the answers and solid technical support he has provided on other threads in this forum. I for one, am very appreciative of his seller support.
The novel information in John's post is that a seller who is registered with eBay as a business account will automatically be moved to the Hub with no ability to opt out. While this may not be welcomed news, it does state the situation more clearly.
I have a variety of eBay accounts with different stages of seller tools. Below are some screenshots and links to get to those various screens if you need to bookmark them:
1) Classic All Selling page (dll-based url) that has been the mainstay of older sellers. Shown with the Active Selling section on top. It should still be available for a while longer to sellers who have not registered as a business.
https://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta&CurrentPage=MyeBayNextAllSelling
4) New All Selling page that is designed for touchscreens, like mobile devices (may have a link at top right to "Switch to classic view" or to "Switch to Seller Hub"). My reaction .... the design is insufferable on desktop with a mouse pointer. Also shown (5) is the Active Listings view, similarly insufferable (and I closed up a lot of the white space on the screenshots just to make them fit here).
https://www.ebay.com/mys/overview?MyEbayBeta&CurrentPage=MyeBayNextAllSelling
2) Accessed from the "Sell" button in eBay's header, this is an older Seller Hub Active Listings view. The columns can be resized, reordered, and turned on/off. As a "seller hub" seller, I always start from the header's Sell button to open this view.
https://www.ebay.com/sl/sell (displayed URL redirects to:)
https://k2b-bulk.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ListingConsole¤tPage=LCActive (actual dll-based URL)
As seen from the URL, this is often called the bulk listing tool. I work with this screen (2) on a business account and with the first screen (1) on a private account and they feel about the same to me.
3) Seller Hub (active listings). The columns are resizable. The order of columns can be changed and unwanted columns can be turned off, while hidden columns can be turned on. Similar to (2), but updated with some shuffling of page components.

Thanks for your detailed response..
IMHO eBay has seriously damaged the online desktop/laptop seller ease of use. I waste a lot of time now scrolling, searching for info.....even though I have re-sorted the columns, deleted some that are unnecessary, and tried to make it more viable for my use.
Fortunately they haven't yet completely mucked up the seller listing tool, although they removed the 30 day listings a while back. GTC is not what works for me, but eBay can charge another listing fee because of the auto-relist, unless I cancel at 29 days 23 hours, which I often do.
I have told eBay, and I have said it here before, ---I am using other sites more and more, with fewer headaches.
