Did you mean:

minimum buy now price value in listing.

when bulk editing and lowering price by % I feel like this would make life easier.

Mainly for when using free shipping as the default value you can't lower by % can't dip below 0.99, but when you use free shipping you'd most likely want it higher than that.

For eBay calc items I don't really care because it doesn't factor in the shipping, so you will never actually take a negative.

Thoughts from you guys managing large catalogs with free shipping?

OK, so what you're saying is you want to set a bottom price at the listing level when you create the listing? No, that does not exist.

But what you can do:

In seller hub, sort your active listings by price. Bring them into the bulk editor in batches, that way you can enter the same min price for each batch.

Make sense?

Might take a few more min, but still pretty quick and easy.

This already exists @dqdistribution. Check the box and enter a value in the "but don't go below" field. Screenshot:

Hi,

Yeah I know about that one and it's helpful in certain situations where I have all the same item where the value would be the same.

However if I want to drop my entire catalog say 5%, it's not helpful as the minimum price is different. On AMZ they have a way to set the bottom price and if you attempt to decrease past that you will get an error.

Ebay does this on bulk edits but it's set at 0.99. All I'm saying I feel like it would helpful if we could set an actual bottom price in the listing so an entire catalog bulk price change would error out on those listings when it tries to decrease the value past that limit.

But I'm new and maybe you are right and I'm not using it correctly.

Thank you, and yeah you are totally right it works in batches.

My idea just feels like it saves a little time for those who just want to select all catalog and be lazy 😄

Also, it provides a little safeguard in case you forget to put that value in every time, or make a typo.

Honestly, if I was using not free shipping listings it wouldn't matter to me. It's the free shipping listings I feel this would benefit.

Once again, thank you for all your input, I appreciate your time. 😄

Most of the sellers doing that are high volume cross-listers that use a third party program to reprice for them, so it's not a huge concern around here for eBay to build out that functionality. Not sure if budgeting a third party tool is an option for you, but maybe look into it if this is a big obstacle to your business.

Yeah, I've been looking at some third-party software, just not sure what I should get yet lol.

I'm not mainly trying to figure things out for my current catalog, but a potential larger one in the future.
