manage your payments

I am a member on ebay now 18 years . When started ,I could choose to accept payments in all means . After a few years (after ebay had an agreement or bought paypal)  ebay forced me to include among payments I accept also via paypal . I agreed although the fees I was charged were high around (4.5%-5%) and although when I transfer to my account ,I had to change the currency  for a very low rate of exchange (less around another 3%). Now after ebay sold paypal, and probably has a new agreement with "Payoneer" ,I am asked to register to this  Payoneer that will manage my payments. I want to know if I am forced to use this new system and why ? or I can continue via paypal that I got used to for a long time ?

I suspect that once you receive notice to switch you will have to. All ebay sellers are being moved to Managed Payments and paypal is being dropped as a payment processor.

@antiquarium3 No, this platform is transitioning all sellers to their new managed payments system. It is the new way to receive payments from buyers. Just like the change you mention to PayPal so many years ago. You should expect more changes as the years progress. It is easy to get used to, not much of a learning curve. Best of luck to you....
