Did you mean:

item IDs do not match any of your active items

So I am in the promotions area doing some buy XX and Get XX free.  I go through the my whole list of items to pick and choose for this promotion and finish it up.  low and behold I have an error on top of page.  It says this--> item IDs do not match any of your active items.   Why and how do I fix it.  There is a whole list of items that are being skipped over.  They are not in another sale.  They are there and active (I hope).  Can anyone please give me any information on this matter?  Its driving me nuts. I would call ebay but after the third time (different situations) of them not being able to help me on technical issues....  Not so much confidence.   My time is very important to me they just seem to waste mine.   I appreciate any help on this matter.  Thanks in advance!  🙂

Re: item IDs do not match any of your active items

I know things. Chocolate is the food of the gods. Mean people suck. Pi= 3.141592653589793... The Earth isn't flat. JavaScript sucks but is currently a necessary evil for wrangling the internet.

You posted in the wrong forum - this forum is for mostly legacy tools like Turbo Lister, File Exchange, and any other eBay seller tools that are not standard website interface functions. Not really for Seller Hub Tools, Promotions Manager, or Selling Manager, etc.

And very few appear to read this forum (or do but don't post). There are probably only a half dozen here who might have answered your question if they saw it, knew anything of use, and/or weren't doing holiday things.

I'm not one of them - I don't have a store or use PM - but as stated above do know things grin

This is the type of problem that requires someone who has experienced the same problem to pipe in. You'd be better off posting your question in Selling where hundreds (thousands?) of sellers who use Promotions Manager lurk.

Or maybe the Seller Hub Forum https://community.ebay.com/t5/Seller-Hub/bd-p/SellerHub

Good luck.

Did you copy/paste the item numbers in to the promotions area? Could you have copy/pasted a space?

Re: item IDs do not match any of your active items

Hello, I've solved the mystery as the same thing happened to me just now. (I stumbled on this post thanks to searches in both Bing and Google!) So what you have probably done is "copy" the previous sale event instead of starting a new one. Those IDs are from items that were sold in the period between the last sale event and the current one. It also probably means that if you've listed items in this interim period, they won't be captured by the current sale if you've copied the sale from the last one. I hope that this makes sense.

That makes very good sense.

Well I apologize for posting in the "wrong section". Such a long post to tell me such. I understood it in the first paragraph. Once again I do apologize. Emails are always nice too. I am posting in the correct area right?
