So I am in the promotions area doing some buy XX and Get XX free. I go through the my whole list of items to pick and choose for this promotion and finish it up. low and behold I have an error on top of page. It says this--> item IDs do not match any of your active items. Why and how do I fix it. There is a whole list of items that are being skipped over. They are not in another sale. They are there and active (I hope). Can anyone please give me any information on this matter? Its driving me nuts. I would call ebay but after the third time (different situations) of them not being able to help me on technical issues.... Not so much confidence. My time is very important to me they just seem to waste mine. I appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks in advance! 🙂

Did you copy/paste the item numbers in to the promotions area? Could you have copy/pasted a space?
I prefer Bavarian chocolate! The rest is just candy.

Hello, I've solved the mystery as the same thing happened to me just now. (I stumbled on this post thanks to searches in both Bing and Google!) So what you have probably done is "copy" the previous sale event instead of starting a new one. Those IDs are from items that were sold in the period between the last sale event and the current one. It also probably means that if you've listed items in this interim period, they won't be captured by the current sale if you've copied the sale from the last one. I hope that this makes sense.

That makes very good sense.
