iOS Can’t have a phone conversation while using eBay app or I get an error message

Hello. I just got the iPhone XR and my husband and I realize that every time we’re having a phone conversation (we plug our headphones in, so we can converse while using other apps) our eBay app gives us an error message and we have to restart our phones and end our phone call in order to get it working again. We never had this issue before! Please fix this error, as it’s nice to be able to multitask!
