Since you insist on getting rid of turbolister and and the alternatives either don't work for many of us and/or are too expensive.....why not change the restriction on the "unsold" category. Allow us to hold more items there for a longer time so we can relist from there? Set the limits at say, 1000 items per account with a maximum of a year in the category if you are concerned about server space. That would at least give a lot of us a chance to survive.

I would love to see something like that implemented.
The primary reason it is not yet implemented is because eBay has a 90 day purge on all ended listings and photos, and unsolds are ended listings. eBay would need to change the underlying program to differentiate ended listings into two categories of ended, and this would involve messing with a code module that has been left alone for a very long time (read that is introducing a whole new swarm of problems).
Nonetheless, I agree this would be a good solution for all of the seasonal sellers.
eBay did increase the GTC out-of-stock duration from 90 days to 180 days, and that is a halfway-there solution, but the hidden listings do still incur monthly fees and auctions are not covered.

In my youth I did programming. Changing a time period in existing coding is a simple change. Even eBay could do it. Maybe that could replace their promise to get us a usable replacement.

Translation.... eBay is doing TL sellers a gross disservice because it has not got it's ducks in a row! It is good at broken promises though.
