Hi @lloydsteventaylor,

Thanks for reaching out to, I'm sorry to hear you're unable to select categories when generating a template.

As @shipscript mentioned, Google Chrome is the most compatible browser with our site, and I would recommend using that if you're not already.

I'd like to look into this further, but need some more information:

  1. What browser are you using?
  2. Mac or PC?
  3. What happens when you try to select categories?
  4. What categories are you trying to select?

I look forward to hearing back from you!

bulk listing from seller hub is it working?

I believe a member on another thread mentioned he was able to download a category template.  It doesn't work for me, but I can't get into some of my Account settings either, so I was assuming the programmers are using some cutting edge scripting that is not supported by my Firefox 52.9 browser. As far as I can tell, eBay is writing primarily to the Google Chrome browser.

bulk listing from seller hub is it working?

John Thank you for reaching out. I use google chrome. I figured out how to access categories for the template. And I successfully used the system to add 3 new listings. I am very happy with the results.

3 questions:

1   i don't see columns for Best Offer or Zip Code . There is a column for location but I had to revise my listing to add best offer and Zip code .

2  Can i hide or delete the columns I don''t need for the listings. will that be ok when I upload? right now i left them blank

3   i notice the file exchange logo appears on my listings. suggest you change that to something like seller hub

excellent 5 stars for you.

bulk listing from seller hub is it working?

Hi @lloydsteventaylor,

I'm glad to hear that worked!

As for your questions:

1. Any columns not in the templates are considered "non-standard" (for lack of a better phrase), and can be added manually using the same headers as File Exchange used:

PostalCode

Values: 5 digit postal/zip code

BestOfferEnabled

Values: 1 or 0 (1=enable, 0=disable)

BestOfferAutoAcceptPrice

Values: Number, no currency symbols

MinimumBestOfferPrice

Values: Number, no currency symbols

MinimumBestOfferMessage

Values: Custom text, 80 character max.

2. Yes, you can customize it as needed, as long as all required columns are present the file should work perfectly fine.

3. I appreciate you pointing that out, I honestly hadn't noticed it yet myself, I will happily pass that along to our technicians to see if we can get something more appropriate for the new tool.

Hope this helps!

@lloydsteventaylor

To schedule a listing, your spreadsheet should have a column titled ScheduleTime.

The date/time values for each listing are formatted like this: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS, where hours must be specified in 24-hour format. An example for 2:30 in the afternoon, local time: 2022-10-20 14:30:00

Listing start times are based on eBay time in California. However, the spreadsheet time is GMT or Universal Time or Zulu (based on a UK meridian). For "eBay time" in America, add 7 (daylight time) hours on the spreadsheet to get from eBay's official time in California to GMT. If you live East of California, then subtract an hour for each time zone eastward.

To start a listing at 7pm daylight savings time on the East Coast (19:00), use a time that is four hours later in the spreadsheet to get to GMT (23:00). This will list the item at 16:00 eBay time, or 4pm pacific daylight time.
