What does 'save to inventory' do?

I just noticed while in Seller Hub, Manage Unsold Listings, in the 'Actions' tab, there's a selection 'save to inventory'. Does anyone know what that does? I assume it saves the selected unsold listings to a 'inventory' somewhere?

1) how do you access this 'inventory', I don't see any 'inventory' options anywhere(it could be that option only appears when a listing is in 'inventory?)

2) How long can you have a listing in 'inventory' Is there a maximum number of days, then it expires/gets deleted?

3) From this 'inventory' location, can one submit the listing, or do I have to move it back to unsold?, then list it.

4) Is there a eBay web page that explains how all this works?

Thanks!

Re: What does 'save to inventory' do?

There were several of us asking this same question in the old Seller Hub board but no one ever came up with an answer.

I don't know if the thread we started got moved to this new board or not.

Re: What does 'save to inventory' do?

Just did a Google search, and a search on the eBay forums...can't seem to find my answers. There should be a eBay page...something like 'How to use the 'save to inventory'

function'. There probably is, just don't know how to find it.
