Transaction report

I downloaded a transaction report a couple of weeks ago for 2022.

I need to download another report for the same time period.  I set the customized settings to include everything, but the 2nd report doesn't include everything the 1st report did.  Most importantly the 2nd report doesn't include "shipping label cost".  How do I get that tp show up in my report?

I just created a report to see if something is missing.

In addition to selecting the types of transactions in the report, the transaction report allows you to customize columns of data. Make sure to select the wanted columns (see arrow below).

Below is a report I just ran using the settings "All statuses" and "Transaction types (all)".

I also changed the default column settings to turn on all possible columns, so I have a bunch.

While most expenses (taxes and fees) are in columns, the labels purchased from your held funds are in separate transaction rows, called "Shipping Label", as shown below. I am not sure whether labels paid externally (PayPal or card) are shown here because this is essentially a "payments" report. In the last visible row below, we see where eBay pulled money back out of the bank account (transfer) to cover a return.

No, I just got a spreadsheet when selecting the full transaction report, so we are probably looking at different reports.

The report showed shipping labels as rows, with the amount paid for the label.

Here are a couple of rows from the transaction report. I collapsed the irrelevant columns

I just wrote the rest down and passed it off to my accountant. It cut me off at the shipping labels too.

The 1st report I got had what the buyer paid and actual cost.

Now I only get what the buyer paid

My spreadsheet report shows both, although seller shipping is on a separate line with the same order number. Are you selecting a different report?

Did you purchase your labels from pending payouts or was that cost charged to your credit card / paypal?

The external payment sources are unlikely to appear on this report.

They came from my ebay account, but that doesn't matter, they printed out once.

The label costs purchased from held funds should have appeared as separate transaction rows in the report, as shown in my screenshots.  eBay has "new" next to the report option, but when I looked at some older reports I ran a few months ago, the old report format is the same as my screenshot. I think the "new" report simply adds the option to turn off unwanted columns.

However, if we are looking at the same report, it is possible eBay fiddled with the report during the time that "new" temporarily appeared and then disappeared a couple of weeks ago.

Does your older report show the label purchases as separate rows?

On the row it should be on, but different  columns
