for any of you that got scared into switching from turbo to SixBit awhile ago.
Now that sixbit is evidently owned by eBay and the promises to make seller hut equivalent to Turbo is somewhere on the dusty road never happen, how did SixBit work for you.
I despise not being able to actually find any information unless you sign up for a free trial.
I would like to hear from sixbit users. Never mind that eBay lied to us about what seller hub was going to do.

SixBit is NOT owned by ebay.
Talk to a user called Rosachs over on the New to ebay boards - specifically on the Starting an ebay business board

I have been using Turbo Lister since it was first offered on eBay. That being said I signed up for SixBit's cheapest program which is $14.95 per month after a six month free trial. SixBit offers several price levels depending on what you need.
For all of you out there that are putting the inevitable off a word of warning..... DO NOT PUT IT OFF!!!. No matter what listing program you decide on you need to move now. Why? Because you need to export all of your Turbo Lister files to whatever program you decide on. When Turbo Lister ends you may be hard pressed to be able to do that.
SixBit is not owned by eBay but eBay is endorsing it.
My experience for the past three weeks is this. I have over 2,000 inventory items to export. At this point I am about 90% complete.
If you have sorted your inventory into file folders in Turbo Lister.... you will have to rebuild them in SixBit. I suggest you do that before you start exporting files.
I have been exporting in batches. The reason is this.... if you have any export problems SixBit will let you know when you are importing and you can go back to Turbo Lister and fix any problems. Make sure you delete the original save export file before you export again.
If you use variations, which I do on my jewelry, again export a batch and see if there are any problems before you continue.
SixBit is an excellent software program and is very similar to Turbo Lister with a bunch of features that are easier and better than Turbo Lister.
Another note.... you get 30 days of free "gold support" no matter what program you sign up with.

I have been using sixbit for 2 years now There are a few things I don't like but after you get use to it you will be happy with it. There are cheaper programs out there but I live in the country and like that I can make my listings off line like Turbo. Well worth the money to me

SixBit is not owner by eBay. They're independent.
I used to use TurboLister adn have been using SixBit for several years now. It's not free but I chose it over TL, even though TL was free. It has a lot of features that, for me, are worth it.
I know it's not the solution for everyone but for those who are on the fence, you can read about some of what it has to offer here https://ebaylistingtoolreview.weebly.com/

I have 3 different seller accounts for 3 types of merchandise.
Question: Will I be paying the SixBit monthly fee for each of my accounts? The answer will definitely affect whether I will continue to list on eBay, since I am a smaller seller, and having to pay for all three accounts would make switching over - and even selling on eBay - not worth it for me.

No.
Depending on the level you choose, there are a number of seller accounts included.
On a side note....the way they use "Description Wrappers" as basically a template, you could have a completely different look to your different types of merchandise. For instance you can have a different wrapper for Summer, Christmas and Halloween or Antiques, Stereos and Food. There are endless possibilities.

Can you download sixbit to more than one computer? My wife and I each have our own store, so would we have to pay double to have it on 2 computers?
That's something I don't have experience with but I believe there's a way to share the database over two computers. You might even be able to have a database on each computer using the same account but I really don't know.

I am so disgusted with everything about sixbit. it is overly complicated to even sign up for the "free" account. The videos are not helpful and are overly complicated with insider jargon. I am so unimpressed and have complained to them several time. Still not able to even set up the account and profile page so I can only imagine how frustrating transferring the TL database will be and using the overdone listing pages.
So angry to have to leave TL.

So far I don't like it at all.
It is expensive if you have multiple accounts.
It lacks the simple function of importing only unsold items that ended in the last 24 hours.
It does many unwanted functions (so you pay for) many features I have no need of.
You have to have one computer serve another to use it on 2 computers, very inconvenient!
I could have TL on several computers.
There is a bug in the eBay.ca shipping in sixbit so I can't use economy shipping as an option even though that works fine in TL.
I am not impressed.
