SixBit and other third party listing tools

I researched 3rd party listing tools a couple of years ago and folks had lots of good things to say about SixBit.  I have heard, though, that eBay has cracked on the use of tools like this. 

1) Does anyone know if using SixBit is still alowed? 

2) If so, is it still considered a very good tool for allowing multiple people (especially admins that you don't want to have access to your entire account)? 

3) Are there any other tools like this that you'd recommend that might be better than SixBit?

Sixbit is still on the list of third Party applications along with many others.

I don't use any of those. So I can't offer any advice on any of that.
