Scheduling Templates

Just finished creating my first scheduled variation listing and it appears in my scheduled listing . If I complete adding before the deadline how can I go about removing the scheduled time without loosing the listing?  what are the limits on how far ahead you can schedule when I planned on 25 days i was told it was too long.

Re: Scheduling Templates

The spreadsheet allows scheduling a listing up to 3 weeks into the future, so 25 days won't work.

The spreadsheet heading would be

      ScheduleTime

and each value would be listed in ISO 24-hour millisecond format as a Zulu (UTC, GMT) time:

      YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS.000Z

like this example:   2023-09-18T16:30:00.000Z

You would need to perform the time zone calculations to start a listing at a designated local time if you actually care about when it will start.

To revise the scheduling in bulk, go to your Seller Hub Scheduled Listings page, checkmark the affected listings and use the Actions droplist to reschedule.

Scheduled listings can also be revised through a spreadsheet revision because they are assigned an ItemID or Item Number. The spreadsheet Action column must have the value Revise, and the Item Number (or ItemID ) column must have a valid listing number. Then any columns that require revision can be added to those first two columns.  Scheduling is one way to create a "draft" of sorts that can be be updated further, whether manually or through a spreadsheet.

To remove the schedule in bulk, use the bulk Edit  feature within Seller Hub (the button to the left of Action on the above screenshot).  When the Bulk Editor opens, select the "Start Time" option to either bulk revise the start date or to remove scheduling and start immediately, as shown below.

At one time, there was a fee for scheduling a listing, but that is no longer the case for US listings.  The fee was only charged if the schedule was triggered, causing the listing to appear on the site.   If the scheduling fee were still in place, there would be no cost if the scheduling is removed and the listing is started immediately, or if the scheduled listing is ended prior to the scheduled time.

Re: Scheduling Templates

Thank you once again all went well. So would that mean you could set for 20 days and then on the 18th day extend it another period of time if needed?

Re: Scheduling Templates

Yes, you can keep pushing out the schedule. I don't know if there is any limit to that.
