Hey,
So today I just noticed that ebay literally removed my feedback on a computer I bought (around 1k$) without even discussing it with me ... The item was delayed on shipment and once I received it I noticed that the ethernet port was broken, so my feedback was totally justified. I mean what's the point of having a feedback system if they can just remove the negatives one that easily ? Isn't it fake publicity ? Does they have the right to prevent new costumers about knowing what they are actually selling to other buyers ? I mean by receiving a negative feedback, they will be forced to propose a better service in the future, but by removing the negative feedback, it become useless ...
The seller was never answering his messages neither too. So bad communication, bad service and product who's not as described and yet they can remove the feedback without contacting me first to resolve the situation.

If you received a defective product, start a return and get your money back. The time for feedback is after everything else is settled.
Don't know what you said in the feedback so I can't tell you if it was in violation of eBay's policies.
Always check the sellers feedback before you buy and if there are negatives, click on the number and read the comments. If the seller is the one that gave you the feedback, I wouldn't have bought from them. 98.9% is not good.
