Hello,
On the current version (as of 2/18/21) of the IOS ebay application, under "My Ebay" , when you click on "Purchases", there is an error and nothing shows up. This has been this way for awhile now and is unacceptable. Someone at Ebay who works on this app should be fired.
I am a developer and if I let this go this long, then i would have been fired. This needs escalated up the chain, so that someone gets this fixed. The error is shown below in a picture.
What I have done:
- I have deleted the ebay application from my iphone 12 multiple times and reinstalled it and this did not fix the issue.
- I have purchased hundreds of items from ebay in the last 30 days so my history should show up.
- I have tested my connection both on WIFI and over AT&T network. All other applications and internet functions properly. Also, I am able to use the Ebay IOS app to purchase items without a problem.
- I have confirmed that there is no problem at all with my "Purchases" showing up on my PC. (again no issue on the PC, only on the IOS app)
- I have read many other posts where other people have had the issue, but no resolution was made. This is totally unacceptable.
What Ebay's IOS development team should to do:
- Fire the person responsible for not fixing this issue.
- Have someone respond to each post that has the same issue, with an apology for not responding to the problem and fixing the issue.
- Fix the issue right away, in the next update.
Thank you in advance for whomever from ebay reads this post and decides to take the appropriate escalation action to get this fixed.
