Hi, where did email signature go? Looks like it disappeared?

Forgive me, but what is an 'email signature'? I wonder now if I lost one, too... 😶

Hi it’s text etc that is automatically placed at the end of every message you send. This is common with email providers too. eBay has had this for many many years.

Each email message is different and I stop typing here and click send. (except what buyer sees is)

eBay is testing a new messaging system that looks more like texting. With that, there is an avatar next to each received message.  Below is what they are adding. Since this is beta, the team will be taking feedback.

We're switching up the conversation with a new seamless, threaded messaging format. We can't wait to hear what you think about our upgraded messaging.

More new and improved features are scheduled to be released this year.

Messages - new format 2023 March

So far, I'm missing the option to send a copy to my personal email (as shown in the old format below), although I'm still receiving messages to my personal email.

Additionally, in both old and new formats, I can initiate a response from my personal email and can include the signature from my personal email, as long as it doesn't contain links and contact info, and as long as it appears directly below my portion of the message.

Thanks, would also like an email thread in the inbox like most other email providers. Chat is nice, though sends the message that responses will be immediate, when for most small business, is inaccurate.

If you're working with the developers on this Ship, wanted to throw in that the iOS app (and I believe the android app) will not CC messages to your email (never has). No option to select.

I'd probably use messaging on the app for quicker responses to buyers during "off hours" or when I'm out if that was available. I rely on those email copies of messaging to run my business.
