New Unified Listing Tool is not for Business Computer Users - Everything is taking twice as long

The new Unified Tool is literally, without any eggageration taking 2-4 longer to list everyting. Every single item to plug in a new pop up window appears, everything requires one extra click, each window takes one extra second to load, each window requires just an extra scroll. 

As a small business who sets aside 4 hours on a Sunday to list 100 items, we can list 35 in the same amount of time.

THE NEW LISTING TOOL IS ONLY DESIGNED FOR CELL PHONES AND INFREQUENT LISTERS.

I need a real listing tool like before. If my entire overhead has increased by this much it just no longer makes any sense to try and run a small store like I have. I'm getting destroyed in how slow the entire process is. I just simply cannot list enough items in an hour to justify the costs. 

Ebay screwed us so bad with this listing tool. Forcing a cell phone, barebones stripped down interface onto all computer and desktop power and business professional users.

This sucks. How can Ebay single handedly destroy our side business like this is unbelievable. 

We are not going to expand our inventory at all and now will just sell off what we have. Also will never buy another item off Ebay because of this. We are going to completely wind everything down once this inventory gets listed but nothing new. No more Ebay. You're completely ruined our little side business with the crap tool.

I just simply cannot afford twice as much time as before. TWICE AS MUCH TIME TO LOAD THE SAME EXACT ITEMS.

Had we known about this listing tool last year before we opened our side business we would never have even opened it. It wouldn't have made any time/economic sense to do so.

Ebay PLEASE GIVE US A LISTING TOOL FOR DESKTOP USER! GIVE US A LISTING TOOL FOR PROFESSIONAL USERS AND NOT CELL PHONE ONCE IN A WHILE SELLERS.

Please use the feedback option at the top triple dots on the tool to provide specific feedback to the team. There is a lot of pushback from sellers who can no longer list efficiently. eBay has, indeed, designed the new listing tool with the look and feel of a mobile device (lots of taps, popups, and overlays, and plenty of empty white space). eBay claims that most sellers use a phone to list, but it is not true that most listings come from a phone. The largest bulk of listings come through eBay's API and similar bulk listing tools. The next group would be sellers like yourself who don't list enough to use the API or who don't want to pay a listing service, but who do list more than a handful of items in one sitting. That is the group of sellers eBay has alienated with their new tool.

Many of us feel that eBay could simply change the stylesheet for desktop users so that the white space is reduced and overlays are exposed.

This listing tool has not only tied the hands of side business lister but also full time listers at well!   Our new listings have fallen by at least half.  To mirror what you said, we just cant list efficiently with the new tool- takes 2x longer which means half the product listed which means half the profit- making ebay less and less relevant a platform to do business on.

 Worst part of it is that we absolutely love ebay and having our sole business here- but they are unnecessarily making it more difficult to use the platform for something so trivial as wanting a "mobile" look to be more trendy.    

Mobile UI do not work on desktops- that is why nobody else is doing it! Other platforms tailor the user interface to provide the absolute best experience for the device! 

Keep sending feedback everyone!!! Every customer service rep that i have talked too says that they have been getting bad feedback on this listing tool for 8 months now and they want it to be changed too!

tooo many popups

too many extra clicks

too many item specifics and confusing "+ signs" to add instead of typeable boxes

everything takes longer

pictures rotate backwards from EVERY other program in the world!- just shows a lack of experience in design

key things are hidden from view and need to be searched for in popup boxes in order to look "nicer"

horrible color and font selection that we have to CLICK 2 EXTRA TIMES TO CONFIRM THAT WE WANT IT!!!!

i hope ebay is getting the point - we NEED a comprehensive professional listing tool like we used to have

GMV has been predictably and steadily falling since the forced release of this new tool- If it made listing easier and faster- Wouldn't if be going up?

I have to agree. I hate the new tool. It is so frustrating it brings tears to my eyes. Makes me want to close up as well!

a feeling expressed by many sellers for sure. 

It has gotten to the point that i can use it and its not the end of the world as it once was.... but it still takes 2x longer to list with for sure.   Now that i am more familiar with it- its doable.... but also highlights its shortcomings and frustrations even more because its just clumsy and awkward on a desktop.     

hoping for a more desktop experience soon as they continue to make changes because mobile is just not cutting it for the listing process
