Not that pleasant with my headline, but I think that all the changes are crap. At least have two formats, one for PC’s and one for smart phones. Ebay has put Desktop/PC users to 2nd class status. All the changes in the past 15 years have slowly been to accommodate smart phones. The listing “tool”, is not a tool, it’s a frustrating mess. Ebay is attempting to make everything “effortless” and automatic, and it just stinks. Four word descriptions? Yes, because they fit on smart phone screens. Most recently now, in the past couple of days, PHOTOS have been resized on my computer to small rectangles. You have to click on them to get the full image, and then you can’t get a close up. Real trash. If you don’t demand a decent description, and can’t see what you are buying, what do you think is going to happen? And then try and call custom,er service. Customer “disservice”. The whole process is “guess and go” for buyers and sellers. This can’t be good in the long term. It’s just stupid, trashy. I’m going to have to learn to go elsewhere to sell, I guess.

Although images are loading fine for me, others have encountered this issue lately.
The problem may be connected to your display resolution. I doubt it is intended.

"Ebay is attempting to make everything “effortless” and automatic, and it just stinks. Four word descriptions?"
The complete opposite.
The fastest way to list more than 20 years has been desktop software.
Using eBay's listing or sell similar on desktop or mobile is exponentially slower.
Your work is also stored on your computer as long as you like.
I further increase the speed of the 3rd party app I use by using AppleScripts to automate tasks such as adding attributes to a listing with a double click.
