So first of all, Every time I upload the file it comes up with a new error, and then you fix that error then a new error comes up, why on earth they can't just give you all the errors in one go I don't know..
It feels as if it's impossible, not to mention the category ID was more difficult to find than what it should be..
The latest Feed:
Error - The item specific Colour is missing. Add Colour to this listing, enter a valid value, and then try again.|The item specific Colour is missing.|The item specific Colour is missing. Add Colour to this listing, enter a valid value, and then try again.|Colour|
Not gonna lie, every time I fix one this another error comes up, been constantly going around in circles for 5 hours, now I have to go to work and I'll be at work till 11pm, now I'll be going to work annoyed
I'd also like to add that this is for a variation template,
Well I just made it work now, so if anyone needs help, I'd be happy to give it , gtg to work now 🙂

Congratulations on your success! As you have discovered, after the spreadsheet is accepted with no structural errors, the data is checked one column at a time (probably left to right). As each error is corrected, it moves on to the next one. Some data does depend on the data that appeared in other columns, and that is why there is a step-wise review.
Now, the next step is to add some colors to that listing. You could add a group of color swatches to the master record, or you could add a photo to each of the "Main Colour" options.

Yeah how do we setup the colour swatches ? I noticed when it uploaded it only used one colour. , even though I had each design in its own colour.

Did you upload the photo URLs from a server?
If so, for your master record, additional photos must be pipe-delimited on a single line within one cell.
Item photo URL
https://myhost.com/pic1|https://myhost.com/pic2|https://myhost.com/pic3
If you are adding a photo to each variation, you must pick the one attribute to which the photos will be assigned. In your case, I assume you will be using the "Main Colour" attribute. The photo URL must be preceded by the name of the option for each color, like this:
Item photo URL
Black=https://myhost.com/pic1
White=https://myhost.com/pic2
Blue=https://myhost.com/pic3
Grey=https://myhost.com/pic4|https://myhost.com/pic5|https://myhost.com/pic6
If your option has more than one photo, then pipe-delimit as shown in the last line above.

Thanks, I'll give the 2nd one a go, I just assumed it would be automatic since it's on the same line as the colour tab. , but will see how it goes shortly.

Hopefully this works, but chatgpt is so good for this kinda thing 🙂

Just says this mate:
Error - Input data for tag <Item.PictureDetails.PictureURL> is invalid or missing. Please check API documentation.|Item.PictureDetails.PictureURL|
Actually it looks like it worked, I think the error came from me putting the parent with a black= etc

When it comes to editing existing products, I assume we can't use the original file upload or is there some setting I need to change in the csv to update only?

First, the master photo can not have a color in front of it. It must be a normal URL.
Second, the variation photo set is an entirely different process than the variation construction. It really wouldn't matter which line the photo is on, as the photo is only linked by the option name that prefixes the URL, not by the name of the variation in an adjacent cell on the same row.
You have multiple blacks, whites, blues, etc. Only one black will be used, only one white, and only one blue.

I assume you have 13 different colors in five different sizes, so you are repeating the same color URL five times, which is simply a redundant statement. There is no need to fill every row with a photo, but there is no harm in the duplication either. The URL value that follows the color name will simply substitute for the one prior.

To revise an existing item, your spreadsheet needs "Revise" in the Action column and an item number. Beyond that, you only need to provide the changed data.
There are some changes that require a full set of features be changed, or else the omitted elements will be lost. For instance, if you want to change only one of several master photos, you would need to supply all the master photos in the revision. If you need to change an Item Specific, you would need to supply the whole set of item specifics. Something similar would be required for changing shipping, due to dependencies.
However, to change an item price or quantity, then only that one value needs to be set in the revision.
For your variation photos, you could get away with just 13 rows of variation combinations with a URL for each color—not one URL for every combination of size and color (5x13).

Yes I see what you mean, it's what I was used to for amazon file uploadings :), I have all of my mockups stored on my local webhost, they are all numbered, so all I need to do is change the number, and think of a title for that design ofcourse, so creating products should be a breeze, thanks for your help, I see on your listings you have a lot of ''test'' listings :), Are you official ebay support or just a great dude :)?

Please help, downloaded current listing, can't even upload that file without an error. I was also under the impression we could creat report templates for new listings, but it looks like we need to create the listing and then edit via report?
Any help would be greatly appreicated as I'm fairly tech savy, and am following instructions exactly but most online help is US based and they appear to have much more utility for their seller hub.

I see that you are in Australia. The Seller Hub CSV file uploads should work the same for the US and Australia since the uploader is based on the old FileExchange that has been cross-platform for a decade or more.
When you "download" a current listing, it is probably not in the correct format to upload as a new listing, nor would it be complete enough to upload.
To create a new listing, first download a template for a specific category in
Seller Hub > Reports > Uploads
For Australia, that would be on this page:
https://www.ebay.com.au/sh/reports/uploads
