Merchant Integration Platform?

What is it?

Every time I click the link from "Selling Tools" my browser uses a huge amount of memory and I can't click on anything on the Merchant Integration Platform page.  I actually have to force close the browser.

Re: Merchant Integration Platform?

Have you signed out, cleared your cache and signed in again?

How many windows and tabs are open?

There may be a problem with this particular page right now..

Sometimes complex scripts get "jammed up".

See what happens.

Re: Merchant Integration Platform?

Yes, I've done that.  1 window/tab open.

Wasted a 1/2 hour between waiting, force closing and forcing a restart of the computer.  Something is definitely off with the page.

Tried it on my laptop as well (which is more up to date than my deskop) and got the same results.

@jeeperz-creeperz

I tried the link to the merchant integration platform in Seller Hub and it is working for me at this point in time.

https://www.mip.ebay.com/

The site was designed to allow uploading inventory lists.

Are you still having trouble, or did it resolve for you?

A page can appear to lock up when some asset is blocked or fails to load (or when an older version cached by the browser no longer works with a newly updated script residing on eBay's page).

Over the past few months, many of eBay's newer pages failed to load or function for me because they use scripts and HTML5 codes that my older system did not understand. There was no getting around those issues, and the site was becoming less usable (in bits and pieces) by my older system.

Now I have  an Apple/Windows machine with Safari, Brave, Firefox, and Edge (Chrome is not allowed).

The page loaded for me in all four browsers in the two operating systems, but I don't have any security or browser add-ons that might have interfered.

I do see that the page uses cross-site scripting, which is often blocked by security settings. When cross site scripting is blocked, an eBay page at www.mip.ebay.com might not be allowed to load data to or from www.ebay.com.  You might check your security settings if the problem still exists on your systems.

Re: Merchant Integration Platform?

I did get it to work in Chrome but Firefox still throws a fit.  I'll check the stuff you mentioned and see if it will work in Firefox.

Thanks for the reply!
