Listing Multiple Items At Once

Hi guys, can someone please explain to me how to create a multiple choice listing?  For example:  I've seen listings say for music CD's with a drop down menu & different artists like Metallica, Deff Leopard, Elvis & each with their own price.  Actually, that's what I want to list.  I have different music CDs that I want to sell, it is not mutiple copies of one cd.  If not I'll just list them one by one.

When you are listing, look for that "Create Variations" button (See photo).Not all categories have it. If you don't see it when you try to create your listings, then you category doesn't allow it. Somewhere there is a list of categories it's allowed, but the list isn't updated. So just try it and see if your category has it. Also, fyi, it's fussy to list these. Make sure you have all your pictures and titles and details ready when you go to start the listing. I try to complete the listing all in one sitting. Also, fyi, don't use "sell similar". Start your listings completely from scratch or it won't work well.

Thanks for the info.   The variations is for like-itmes right, so say I'm selling like 5 pairs of shoes, all different brands & different shoes (like LeBron, Jordan, Steph Curry),  I can use variations & add different prices for each?   

The thing is, if you go to my page, you'll see I listed a whole bunch of CDs, all different.  I just listed them one-by-one.   I figured that with variations, yes I could list them but they all have to be the same price.

Yes, you can list all different brands and all different prices in your multi-variation listings. And, they would have all different pictures. Keep in mind you will need one "group" picture to put on the listings that will show up when people scan all the listings, to give an idea of what all is included in your multi-listings. For instance, for my craft stamps, I show the side of a stack of stamps, to show I have multi-listed all the different individual stamps.

Just off the top of my head, for shoes, if you have a lot of different brands, I would probably only list one size in a multi-listing for instance just all the size 10's together, and all the size 9's in a different multi-listing. But, it would also work if you have one style with lots of different sizes. If you try to list a lot of different brands with a lot of different sizes, it might not make it to people's search. But you can try anything.

I don't know if multi-listing is allowed in shoes or CDs, but if the option shows up when you try to list in a category, then yes, it is allowed.

One more thing though, you only have 20 listings, you know you get 250 free right? Just a thought, you might maximizing your individual listings before you try multi-listings.
