Issues listing Multivariant products through Shopify eBay integration tool.

I have been using the eBay integration tool on Shopify for over a year now, but I have been having a constant problem. Some of my Shopify listings that have multivariants are not syncing in eBay. In these cases only one variant  (product sku) shows when I upload the listings through the integration tool. All of my products fall within ebay categories that allow multivariant (health and Beauty) so I  cant seem to figure out why the variants wont sync. I have tried deactivating then reactivating the product in Shopify and force syncing but no luck. I have also tried  updating the item specifics in ebay but since I created them in Shopify the ebay listing tool will not allow changes. Any help with this would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with Shopify, but there is a problem getting a variation accepted if one of the variants is named the same as a required master record Item Specific.

For instance, in some categories "Color" is a required Item Specific, and the heading "Color" can not be used as a variant. Instead, something like "Colors" can be used for the variation.
