Hello! Is there an app that allows me to compare my price on an item to other sellers so I can see how I rank in pricing, if I need to lower my price or raise it? thanks!

There are third-party programs called "repricers", but those are for sellers who need to constantly monitor fluctuating prices in competitor listings.

For your purposes, you might just set up a series of keyword searches to return similar items and then save or bookmark those URLs to check every so often. 

For instance, when I use the keywords from the eBay home page and select lowest price first:

Disney Animators Collection Belle Plush Doll small

I see prices ranging from $16.12 to $26.00, with all but one offering free shipping.

You can see the keywords at the end of the URL below, if you want to simply construct a lot of URLs.

Another possibility is to go to eBay's home page and search by UPC or manfacturers part number (MPN). Here is one MPN

That returns a similar grouping and would capture listings where the keywords did not all match, although if a seller omits the MPN or provides a wrong MPN, the results may omit or include extra listings.

I have written programs for a few sellers (who have their own server to run the program), which would take their spreadsheet list of item titles and return all the similar listings. Such a program would automate what I am suggesting you manually do here, but if you just need to check occasionally (or when creating a listing), you can do that manually.

I do that search sort of thing when doing a new listing... If you saw my ebay account then you know I don't have a ton of stuff, but what I am looking for is an app to match my current listings against what is currently listed as same/similar product, so I can see how my pricing matches up... is that the app category you suggest still?  thanks again for your help to this small guy trying to just make some extra cash!

Hey there, not really an app (as in an app you'd use on your phone), but I find myself using www.terapeak.com quite often. It gives you a lot of data, including prices of active, sold and unsold listing of an item. You can then look and see if there's a sweet spot for your pricing. Hope that helps!
