In seller hub, I click on store, then edit profile, and it takes me to the section where I can type into the box, but once I hit Save, a big red error box comes up.
When I go to Store Help in the seller hub, it takes me to the ebay generated page that says to click on "Tell My Story". But there is no "Tell My Story" button to click on.
I don't know if this is a change from one of the recent updates.
Can anyone else edit/ change their About Me section right now? Is this a glitch?

Follow instructions/link in my last post and look for this:
Regarding profile page, not store about page - yes, eBay is aware and no, they have not provided any kind of timeline for a fix.

There's a current bug where any line breaks are causing that error when trying to update your ID's profile page.
The Store about me page is different. I haven't heard about the same issue there, but I suppose it's possible.

At the top just under your image you'll see Stage Your Store / Tell Your Story.

Any idea how long that bug has been a problem? Is ebay aware and taking steps to correct it?
On my store page, there is a button to Manage My Store (I didn't see any Tell Your Story). But clicking on that just takes me back to the Store page on my Seller Hub. And then, I'm back where I started.
It's not a huge deal, I suppose, but I always change my About Me on my store to reflect my current sale. So now it's stuck on a sale that ended, and I have people messaging me asking about that sale.

No prob @mamacassidy .
Don't forget I subscribed to your store newsletters a few weeks back because you wanted me to test and confirm if I received them - have you sent any out since then?

No, I haven't sent any.
And I'm sorry, I should have followed up with you. On one of those threads, we figured out the problem.
In order to receive a newsletter, someone has to follow the store, then subscribe. And they also have to have their account settings set to allow promotional emails/ messages from ebay. (I think you might have been the one to tell us to check our settings, lol)
I believe that the people I had enlisted to send a 'test' newsletter back in October never received them because at some point they had changed their account setting due to excessive promotional emails.
As soon as I updated my settings, I received them.
So they are getting sent out, at least to those who allow it 🙂

Yeah, I'm the one that mentioned someone has to check their communication preferences. 😉
OK, good to know it's all working for you. Thanks for the update.
