I use promotions liberally however I seriously disapprove of one of the new options.   Some of my listings have banners across the very top directing potential buyers to other eBay Seller listings!  The banner says "Find similar items..." followed by a link to another eBay store!  After the holidays (when I have more time) I plan to lodge a complaint with any eBay representative I can reach.

Good luck with making a complaint. No amount of complaints will make that go away. 

The banner you see is a seller promoting their store.

Except for the cost of the promotion, It's no different than other sellers sponsored items being shown in your listings.
