How to exclude buyers from certain US states?

Is there a way to exclude buyers from certain US states? I've had a rash of bad buyers from one US state, and would like to exclude the buyers in that state from bidding on/buying my items.

Is there a way to do that?

I'm familiar with 'Manage shipping settings'-'Exclude shipping locations', I don't see anywhere to block certain US states.

You can block AK and HI.   That's it.   There are no other blocks available.

It's probably the same buyer with relative/fake/scam accounts.

I had this problem at one time and I canceled the transaction (2-3 times total) using the reason "problem with the buyer's address." This wasn't the spirit of that cancel reason, but it was true (for me).

@tkmops   eBay Australia allows their Sellers to block their States ... but then they don't have 50 like we do.  For the state you are talking about is it more like a larger city with surrounding metropolitan area(s)?  Just curious.  I would had to agree that it would be a nice feature to be able to refine our ability to block certain areas in our country but I am doubtful that will ever happen.

I'm in CT. I want to exclude CA since shipping is so expensive to go coast to coast and I don't like/use calculated shipping. It appears I can't which is unfortunate.

I am shipping from the middle of the country. I need to block buyers in the states on the edge of the country furthest away as calculated shipping is too expensive for one specific item. If I could block a state that would be good. Also, if I could block by "Shipping cost higher than $x.xx" would be good too.

Know of no way for a seller to block specific states.

Don't your buyers anticipate that they will pay for shipping and don't they see what shipping will be BEFORE they commit to buy?
