Followers

I have a question regarding followers on your account. I just opened a second eBay account, because I wanted to sell other things other than what my other account has sold in the past. I have one follower on my new account, can eBay remove that one person if I have some concerns.

And I have a concern for you:  Why would you list and sell anything for $1.50?

"Followers" are people who have marked "save seller" or "save store" on a listing or search. The seller will not know who those followers are, and eBay will not remove them.  They remain anonymous.

Followers are many types:

• Competitors who want to keep track of their competition and prices.
• Buyers who are interested in the type of items you are selling.
• Repeat customers who collect what you are selling.
• Buyers who accidentally click the 'heart' to follow a seller.

Because, as a new seller, this is one of the best ways to learn how to list and ship on eBay and to garner A+ feedback. It is a cheap way to learn, where the cost of entry is low and potential losses are minimal.  More sellers should start out this way.

Yes, you are, of course, correct, if that's actually what the new seller had in mind.

But we have seen more than one message here from a seller who listed for a low starting price and then complained that, guess what, he did not receive much after fees etc had been deducted.

Ok everyone! That has nothing to do you my question! First of all this is my 2nd account on eBay,  I’m in great standing member with eBay since 2018! and  yes they are aware I’m very transparent! As far as my tape listing,  it was to sold to a friend of mine to do exactly what @sohl.maryl said to build up a reputation.

I think the concern here is that you seem less concerned with the aspects of your listing than you do something that is inconsequential such as followers.
