I'm having some fairly minor surgery tomorrow and it's going to prevent me from shipping anything for several days, so how do I go about setting a delay for selling? I don't want to make a sale & then can't ship it right away. I currently have over 100 items listed, and don't want to have to go through them all and end them, then relist them all again next week. Is this possible?

Go here:
https://www.ebay.com/vac/timeaway
You can set a time away for your listings.
You have two options, you can suspend buy-it-now sales for up to 30 days (but not auctions - they just get a notification you are away - Items with offers pending may be excluded from this till their offers are completed).
Or you can still sell for up to 15 days but the buyer will be notified that you are away.
IN either of those cases, make sure you have the ability to at least contact the buyer while you are away if possible to let them know when to expect it to ship when you get back.
Communication with buyers while using this feature is important. If a buyer wishes to cancel and not wait, be sure to accept.

I'm with gator. I'd set Time Away and not allow sales. Flip that switch back when you're available! >> Time Away | eBay
P.S. Get well soon! 😊

Hi @jhestertackle . I'll reiterate what the previous 2 responders said, and suggest you use the Time Away setting. I'll also stress the importance of reviewing the help page to see the limitations - if you sent any seller initiated offers within the past 4 days, that can create some problems if buyers take advantage of those offers while you're on Time Away. Good luck with your surgery.

If you allow sales while away, make sure you read all the exclusions carefully.
Plan to have any auctions or offers end a week before you leave.
There's an option to set up an out of office auto-response within the Time Away settings.
Keep in mind you're still responsible for handling any return requests, claims or payment disputes that are filed while you're away.
