I am opening an ebay store with the intention of selling hundreds of books. How do I do this without having to list each separate book? A friend says that I can upload a pdf to ebay which will create the listings, but I have no idea how to do this. Please help 😞

You only have 4 positive feedback ratings in the last year. You will have restrictive selling limits. A store will not increase these limits.
Once your limits have increased, you can use the eBay FileExchange utility to create listings. This uses csv files, not pdf.
You can learn about FileExchange here - https://ir.ebaystatic.com/pictures/aw/pics/pdf/us/file_exchange/File_Exchange_Advanced_Instructions....
Note. I use FileExchange, my partner uses the advanced listing tool. She can outperform my efforts. You will need to use a external site to store your images for upload by FileExchange.
More about limits...
Here is the info on limits - https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/selling-limits?id=4107
Here are the way(s) to get limits increased when you have met the conditions -

Another way, is to just list up to your limits and then one more to receive the error. Do this each week. During the monthly account review, the reviewer will see the attempts and will raise your limits automatically, if your account is in good standing.
