How can I rename the subcategories in my store.

Some of my subcategories have huge mistakes in the name, like the wrong gemstone name. I know how to rename order etc in categories first level but I need to rename the levels 2 &3.As always thanks for your help!

Hi @artear,

1. Click on Manage my store, on the left hand side of your My eBay page (in the box Seller Tools),

2. Now click on the Manage my store button on the right hand side,

3. Now click on Store Categories on the left (in the box Store Design).

You can rename the categories you have by clicking on the box next to the category you wish to change, then scroll down to the end of the list and click on Rename.

If you want to delete, just click on the box next to the category name and scroll down to the bottom of the list and click on Delete.

I understand how to rename my categories, but how can I rename my subcategories?

Ok. Go to the Manage my Store link, Click on Store Categories on the left.

You will see the level 1 categories listed. Click on the Category that contains the subcategory you wish to rename. (Do not click on the box before the category. Click on the category title).

Next screen will allow you to rename the sub category name.

I"m sorry I wish I remembered how to do that.  I just renamed most of my categories a couple months ago.  Finding the Subcatergories was easier if I deleted unused categories and then made a new one.
